    @media
    We report future VOICE, YOU decide. If you don’t like what we report or question what we say, GO ask your WUTLESS MEDIA contacts and let them tell you what happened. We notice one media house said not a word on the matter. We will not call the name, but when we point you whistle.

    Bahamas Press/Editor

    I ain’t pointing nowhere but right here to Bahamas Press. I do not have to ask anyone, facts are a stubborn thing! You said that Jones was arrested until funds were paid and then released, IT WAS AND IS A BRASS FACED LIE!!!

    Wendell Jones was not arrested, this was just another tangle web you weaved to deceive AND to get people to read THIS SITE, now that is WUTLESSSSSS!!!!!

    You have no credibility, none whatsoever. As least I could depend on the newspapers to print a retraction or an apology when they are wrong!

    I will hold you to the fire on every story until you tell the truth and stop publishing lies to attract readers.

  • Tink we fool

    that casino in freeport owners who owed tax why wasnt the same treatment meted out???????????????????

    Like i said earlier, WJ is wrong for being delinquent, but to focus on him and him alone in striking. His company isnt the only one who is not paying their NIB payments. Many of these same big law firms and hotels are behind in their payments too. Why isnt the director at NIB marching those folks to court as well? Or are they and the Punch, Tribune and Guardian only focusing on WJ?

    I was told that Love 97 is profitable and pays for itself and that its actually JCN TV and its lack of revenue thats killing WJ. Love 97 paid the bills for itself and the Bahama Journal, but since JCN showed up, Love 97 is drained dry. If it wasnt for Love 97, i am told that WJ would have had to close shop a long time ago.

    I think WJ needs to bring in people who actually knows what he/she is doing. You cant put family members in positions where they dont have the experience.

    With the right sales team, JCN can make money. When you watch that station, in an hour they have like 1-2 commercial breaks. Thats not good at all.

    The lack of justice in this country is unbelievable! We wonder why this little island of NP is filled with so much violence? Corruption is rampant at every level in this country and only those with money and political connections seem to be above the little justice thats left.

    If your a poor Bahamian and ya dont know nobody in high places, dog eat ya lunch!

    @Forrester J Carroll J.P

    Forrester, there is a twist to this story. I recall that there was a man of the cloth (a black man) who killed another man in defense of his property; justifiable homicide some would agrue. Well the then attorney general filed a “non-prosequitur” in each case, releasing both men from prosecution.

    It is believed that this decision was made to neutralize the imminent criticism and fallout from the decision to release only Mosko from prosecution. The decision was not because the government believed the man of the cloth did not have a case to answer.

    That side of the saga is not told.

    SORRY THE WORD SHOULD BE SPELT, “NON-PROSEQUITUR” AND NOT “NOLLE PROSEQUI” AM SLIPPING UP ON MY LATIN THESE DAYS.

  • Forrester J Carroll J.P

    MUGABE JUST TARGETS, SELECTIVELY, THOSE HE THINKS ARE PLP SUPPORTERS AND CALLS IT TEACHING THEM A LESSON. HAVE YOU SEEN ANY UBPs BEFORE THE COURTS LATELY FOR SIMILAR OFFENSES? DO YOU THINK THIS IS, BECAUSE THEY ALL PAY THEIR NATIONAL INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS ON TIME? HAVE YOU SEEN OR KNOW OF ANY KNOWN FNMs WHO WERE DRAGGED BEFORE THE COURTS AND HASSLED, AS WAS DONE WITH WJ? THIS GOVERNMENT HAS ALWAYS DEALT WITH PLPs AND THOSE SUSPECTED TO BE PLPs, IN A MUGABE-LIKE FASHION AND AT THE SAME TIME ALLOW FNMs TO GET AWAY, EVEN WITH THE WORST CRIMES. YOU SHOULD REMEMBER THE KILLING, SOMETIME AGO, WHICH INVOLVED AN EASTERN ROAD MEMBER OF A MOSKO FAMILY WHO SHOT AND KILLED A BLACK MAN WHO WAS JUST WALKING THROUGH THE NEIGHBORHOOD. THE PLP WAS IN POWER AT THE TIME; THE SUSPECTED MURDERER FLED THE COUNTRY OVER NIGHT AND A WARRANT WAS ISSUED FOR HIS ARREST. HE LIVED OUTSIDE THIS COUNTRY UNTIL THE FNM WON THE GOVERNMENT. AS A FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS, TURNQUEST(THE FATHER NOT THE SON)HAD THE WARRANT SQUASHED IN THE COURTS AND HE FILED SOMETHING IN THE COURT KNOWN AS A “NOLLE PROSEQUI” WHICH ALLOWED THE SUSPECTED MURDERER TO RETURN HOME WITHOUT BEING PROSECUTED. THIS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THEIR POSITION HAD THE SUSPECT BEEN A BLACK MAN WHO WAS SUSPECTED OF MURDERING A WHITE MAN OR WOMAN. BY NOW THE BLACK SUSPECT WOULD HAVE BEEN TRIED, CONVICTED AND HANGED BY THE NECK UNTIL DEAD, NO QUESTIONS ASKED; AND THEN LOOK AT THE “MONA VIE” INCIDENT; LAWS WERE DEFINITELY BROKEN BUT A WAY OUT WAS FOUND TO JUSTIFY THE CRIMINAL ACTS COMMITTED. JUSTICE YOU SAY?

    Now Media, today is just Tuesday and already I am reading some false information. According to two headlines on this site, Jones was arrested, please tell me this was a typo.

    Credibility is a serious thing. I will hold you feet to the fire to print the truth and not lies to attract readers.

    Please Prove me wrong!!

  • @media
    Bp help me to understand where was all the monies going that these employers was docking from thier staff pay check? cause if i make 250 a week and 15 dollars is taken out for NIB and it is not paid then what is my recourse?

  • media

    Ahhhh Altec, like when Porkey Dorsette had a warrant of arrest issued for his failure to pay National Insurance. He was in court the next day with his warrant cancelled and he still owes but no one in the media said a word. Porkey is now laying tile at the NIB Headquarters Building on Blue Hill Road, but nothing was said about him, why?

    Well he is the husband of a former FNM MP for Fox Hill! The WUTLESS MEDIA didn’t run down on Nassau Street for that! DEY **********************. But they gat all they cameras out and mics ready to attack Wendall JONES. I hope Jones turn up the heat on these WUTLESS FNMs, so when they read the words BIAS all they see is the name Ingraham, Papa Doc, MUGABE and DUTTY SHAME!

    BP i think that WJ is wrong for not paying his bills, but the way that this man has been treated over the last 12 months is just plain wrong. For the past year this man has had a target on his back and anything concerning his business has been brought into the public domain. it all started with Ivone Johnson then other newspapaers joined in the “beat the man while he is down” party.

    Doesnt anyone find this ironic?

    WJ must have pissed off somebody with major influence because he isnt the only one who owes NIB and honeslty it seems like the focus is only on him.

    Normally the media pays no attention to who doesnt pay the NIB contributions. Why all the stories now in the Tribune, guardian, Punch and ZNS over the last 12 months?

    Remember the other media outlets made hay of the owners of more 94 FM as well. I have been reliably informed that the main media conglomerate in the Bahamas had approached the owners of the radio and tv stations with the intent on buying them up. from what i understand WJ and the Saunders family (owners of More 94 FM) didnt even entertain the offer from the FNM leaning media conglomerate.

    And now that i see WJ and the Saunders family in the papers, it just makes me wonder!
