Nassau, Bahamas – Nine adult males are in custody in connection with a shooting incident that has left one adult male dead and five other persons detained in hospital on Tuesday 26th April 2016.
Reports are that shortly after 9:00pm, a group of persons were standing on a park in Sunshine Park, when a male armed with a handgun emerged from a white Honda Legend vehicle and fired several shots before speeding off. Five males and a female were shot and were transported to hospital, where they were detained. One of the males later succumbed in hospital.
Police later arrested 9 adult males for questioning in connection with this incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
