25-year-old Lavar Albury suspected in the murder of Devince Smith

Nassau, Bahamas — Bahamas Press has now identified that suspect now in police custody for the murder of Devince Smith.

Bahamas Press can reveal that the suspect is 25-year-old, Lavar Albury, of Eneas Street.

Smith was brutally murdered in his condo apartment on St. Alban’s Drive and discovered on Dec. 21st, 2015.

Albury turned himself into police on last evening around 8pm.

The 43-year-old banker was found dead in a bloody room inside his apartment.
