Nassau, Bahamas – Like a preacher selling his message of the kingdom, sometime holding back tears, Malcolm Adderley told members of the House of his intent to resign from the House of Assembly.

Adderley said his troubles came even before the 2007 general elections. “I am on time Mr. Speaker, this is my personal decision.”

Malcolm stated that the relationship between him and Perry Christie has worsen. He stated that Christie lacks vision. He said following the decision of the PLP Convention to re-elect Christie he then decided to respect the wishes of the people in the PLP and thus decided to path ways with the organization.

Adderley announced, “Effective 5:30 PM today, I tender my resignation from this House.”

Once again your Bahamas Press delivered the game plan of Hubert Ingraham. While the media slept on the holidays, ONLY BAHAMAS PRESS stayed on the JOB and broke the news on December 9th [ https://www.bahamaspress.com/?p=9671 ]. And now we shall tell you what’s next. Stay tuned at 10 PM tonight!
