Williams Town, Exuma – Bahamas Press is learning that sometime around 7am on Saturday August 26, 2017, The Drug Enforcement Unit led a joint operation along Marine Support Unit and DEA.
Acting on intelligence the team went to waters of Williams Town, Exuma and intercepted a go-fast vessel. The vessel has a large quantity of marijuana on board. We are not certain if any suspects have been arrested.
The drugs will arrive in the capital this evening via police vessel.
