Nassau, Bahamas – Bahamas Press is learning that both Leila Greene and Dr. Sandra Dean-Patterson have both been relieved of their positions within the Department of Social Services.
We understand the pair worked on several special projects for the Government of the Bahamas, but now have been axed down like a cherry tree by the Minnis Regime.
PM Minnis told Parliament that if you have a contract over $100,000 you are as good as gone. We don’t believe the two made anything near that, but while Bahamians are headed to the unemployment lines – and in some cases for a long time – foreign expats are being shepherded into the country by the Minister for Immigration and processed.
