PRESS STATEMENT
INCIDENT AT HER MAJESTY’S PRISON, FOX HILL
Shortly before twelve noon today, 27 March 2008, an incident involving an inmate and several Prison Officers occurred in the Maximum Security Unit of Her Majesty’s Prison. As a result of the incident, the inmate and a Prison Officer received injuries, and were treated at the Princess Margaret Hospital.
An internal Court of Inquiry has been established at Her Majesty’s Prison to investigate the circumstances that led to the incident, and will report to the Superintendent of Prisons by 10 April 2008.
