Children around the world are more and more becoming victims of war and violence. Tonight a toddler was shot in Nassau. Please tell us, where is the country headed with all this mayhem and slaughter?
Nassau, Bahamas — Bahamas Press is reporting tonight the shooting of a toddler in the Pinewood Garden area.
Jumping out of a car like Rwandan Style Gangsters were three males tonight armed with handguns. The men as they exited the vehicle fired gunshots at a car wash in Pinewood. There actions caused a 4 year old toddler and an adult male to received gunshot injuries about the body.
Both were rushed to PMH both the adult male and toddler are detained in critical condition. The culprits, fled the area in the white Honda traveling east on Brazilletta Ave.
SHOOTING
Sometime around 10:45 pm on Sunday 13th June, 2010 police received information of a shooting at Pinewood Gardens. Police responded and information received that a 22 year old male of Nassau Village, was walking in the area of Mt. Tabor Drive when he was approached by another male clad in a black hooded jacket and blue jeans pants, allegedly armed with a handgun. It is reported the culprit fired gunshots at the victim, which resulted in the victim receiving gunshot injuries to the right arm and side. The victim was taken to hospital via EMS personnel, where he is listed in stable condition. The culprit fled the area in a white van, police are investigating.
SHOOTING
Sometime around 11:15 pm on Sunday 13th June, 2010 police received information of a shooting at Sunshine Park. Police responded and information received that a 27 year old male on arrival to his residence was approached by a male clad in dark clothing allegedly armed with a handgun. It is reported the culprit fired gunshots in the direction of the male which resulted in the male receiving gunshot injuries to the right thigh. The male was taken to hospital via EMS personnel where he was treated and discharged. Police are investigating.
ARMED ROBBERY
Sometime around 1:30 am on Monday 14th June, 2010 police received information of an armed robbery at East Brook Street, off West Bay Street. Police responded and information received that a 37 year old male on arrival to his residence was approached by a masked male, clad in dark clothing, allegedly armed with a handgun demanding cash. It is reported the culprit gun butted the victim to the forehead while robbing the male of his cell phone and an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was taken to hospital via private vehicle where he was treated and discharged. The culprit fled the area on foot in an unknown direction. Police are investigating.
ARMED ROBBERY
Sometime around 2:21 am on Monday 14th June, 2010 police received information of an armed robbery at Prince Charles Drive near Fox Hill Road. Police responded and information received that a female was walking east on Prince Charles Drive, when she was approached by three (3) males, the occupants of a white Impala. It is reported one (1) of the males produced a handgun and robbed the female of her handbag containing an undetermined amount of cash and personal effects. The culprits fled the area traveling east on Prince Charles Drive. dont know if you guys knew but apparently it wasnt just coincidence, that 37 year old robbed on monday turned out to be Jerome Sawyer and the theif called him by name to get his attention, now wat he was doing getting home at 1:30 isnt anyones business but yeah, seems this robbery wasnt random at all
