During the past twelve months many reports have been provided to the local media coming from the current administration at the highest official levels – Cabinet  Ministers – Board  Chairman and the GM.  Most of these reports have been negative, coming mainly from professional politicians – the least informed, but none from financial experts, such as the Corporation’s CFO or Auditors or external analysts.  In other words, these reports lacked empirical data, but yet  were reported as “facts” and “truisms”  by the media.

In order to set the record straight  on my tenure in BEC as Executive Chairman (2002 – 2005)  I present this report analyzing from BEC’s internal records, annual audits and  consultants reports, the objective and complete facts as follows:-
