Cognizant of the fact that these are tough times and that people are hurting and may not know where to turn, or how to ask for help, the people of Mount Sinai Baptist International Ministry North Andros in collaboration with members of Saint Margaret’s Anglican Parish North Andros hosted a thanksgiving merriment for the people of North Andros on Saturday, 13th November, 2010.
The all day event took place at South Mastic Point Park in North Andros. The occasion brought joy and hope to the entire island as hot food, drinks, shoes, clothing, household items, etc were distributed freely to the people.
Senior citizen where also treated to a free pedicure and manicure.
The Rev. Dr. Samuel Fowler, Senior Pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist International Ministry and the Rev. Fr. Jude Edomwonyi, Priest-in-Charge of St. Margaret’s Anglican Parish were on site to offer counseling and spiritual direction.
