  1. Yes, the gun should have been licensed, however Mr. Moss should have been cautioned as he is a respectable Bahamian. Everyone knows in an incident like this, one has only to pay the license fees. Mr Moss said he has had the gun for ten years, as he uses it for his protection. I feel the police used poor judgement. what do they hope to achieve by this?

  2. so can you tell me why paul moss was even pulled over in the first place for them to even see he had a gun in the car? seems like he was targeted becuase first off the roadblocks dont pull everyone over and paul moss car glass see through i always see him on the road…. so what made the rapid strike officers pull him over in the first place? and his convenience store right in the heart of the ghetto on kemp rd so obviously he need a gun… i could see if he is a hoodlum with a freakin gun dread, he have the license already and cause it doesnt appeared to be renewed on time you police freaking out… muddoe sick

  3. It was absolutely dum of Paul Moss to be driving around with a fire arm and especially an un-license one. The reason I will not drive around with one is because the temptation will always exist to shot the stupidity that exists in our society. If five guys walk up to me and one was to slap me. Wisdom will prevail and I most likely will walk away. But if I have a gun everything changes. Someone will be dead.

  4. Are we willing to destroy future BAHAMIAN political leaders? While I’m no fan of Paul Moss and he knows better, conventional wisDUM by the police would mean they should of cautioned him, then given him an opportunity to get it right.

    • It would have been quite alright for officers to conviscate the shotgun until such time that Mr. Moss had gotten his permit in order. I believe it is pure cocksuckerish actions of the police administration to drag him before the courts. What I figure happened is the arresting officer (probably innocent) called his boss trying to find out what to do. His boss (politically motivated) probably call he politician boy. He politician boy tell him to lock that negro up. Sad but probably true.

#Like Paul Moss was fittin to knock of a liquor store later that day. C’mon man, discretion.

  5. This is unbelievable. They will target anyone who is trying to effect needed change in our country. This is ridiculous!!!

  6. Are you serious? The man had a damn shot gun be cause he is a buisness owner and need to protect himself against criminals. The criminals that break in to your house and Steal everything down to the toilet bowl. you know what Bahamas press you are way to damn biased why don’t you talk about sissy rollins and christie or mother Pratt gun in her dog house.

    • This law is just stupid, if u are issued with a firearm license and your deliquent you can be arrest and charge for unlawful possession. its like being late on you mortage or rent come on this mess has to change. I recognize there are many responsibilities that comes along with owning a fire-arm, but being dragged of to jail because your late is rediculos. do you have any idea how many people are late with their fire-arm renewal including police officers.

      • THE law is the law, WE WANT EVERYBODY TO GO SCOTT FREE. WONDER WHAT RODNEY AND BRAN WOULD SAY ABOUT THIS. 2 yrs late for renewal….no excuses here just a stupid thing to do, what if this gun was stolen and use in a murder?….GOOD JOB POLICE. YOU need to be more responsible if looking to LEAD EVEN YOUR FAMILY OK.

        • FINALLY SOMEONE WHO HAVE SOME SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY ON THIS SITE…FOR A MOMENT I THOUGHT I HAD ENTERED THE TWIGHT ZONE OF FOOLISH TALKING. PAUL MOSS SPEND A YEAR SITTING ON BLUE HILL WILL LAURA THEM TRYING TO TAKING OVER PERRY EM PARTY HE SHOULD GO TAKE CARE OF HIS RESPONSIBILITY…IRRESPONSIBLE BACKSIDE

        • Whether or not someone steals a licensed shotgun or an unlicensed shotgun, i’m quite sure it’ll kill the same. To say, “what if this gun was stolen and use in a murder?” makes no sense.

          • Him being a Lawyer, dont make him a respectable community man, remember Bodie, remember the Haitian lawyer who is now dead, caught with many stolen goods, apart of a crime ring. They are the SCUMS of our low life. I have a lawyer buddy in freeport who told me he is happy when the crime rate goes up, because he is a crimminal lawyer, but last year the tide turn an one of his client bust him in court side his face….GOOD JOB COPS, GET ALL ILLEGAL GUNS OFF THE STREET
