Member for Bamboo Town, Branville McCartney, just said in the House Members of the Parliament paid persons in the Elizabeth elections to vote.
McCartney was speaking on an Election reform bill tabled in the Parliament by Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham this morning.
In his contribution McCartney further charged that persons in the Parliament including, Kenneth Russell, was in the presence of persons while they smoke dope.
The statement erupted the House and forced Russell to jump to his feet demanding a withdraw from the MP.
The Speaker asked McCartney for a withdrawal of the remarks. He refused. He was then told he would be disallowed to further speak on the bill and that his statements would be expunged from the records . Branville you would remember, campaigned in the Elizabeth by-election for THE FNM!

The Speaker expunge the records of Branville, but when Charlie made all them allegations and Kenneth Russell told them lies on Mother Pratt the Speaker did not expunge those. So don’t even tell us no bull. That is for the FNM MEDIA them to not report.

Branville should rethink what he is saying because a lot of his votes in Bamboo town came from dope smoking thugs that were hired by him.Yes he got votes from decent people, but he know and I know that he paid a lot of thugs in Malcolm allotment. I heard reports of persons on the Labour Day parade smoking so much dope that if you passed a truck that haden on it from Nassau Village you were sure to get high,high.Since the DNA were issuing water then maybe they experienced the same thing.The Govt had better leave many issues alone as they risk the possibility of being exposed further.
