Papa Doc and Baby Doc Share the same DNA!

Nassau, Bahamas — Sources close to the Volunteer Bahamas Program have confirmed to Bahamas Press that the list of names provided by the FNM of 25 years and current MP for Bamboo Town, Branville McCartney, may be bogus.

McCartney bragged on a local talk show that he had signed up over 500 volunteers. This, he claimed, had far exceeded the number of persons signed up by the Government.

Sources in the OPM tell us they were provided with the list of names that Branville was referring to and began a verification process for the contacts submitted. However, BP can confirm that many persons whose names and contacts were provided were unaware they had volunteered when contacted by officials.

Further, a majority of the persons listed were unable to be verified. Are they phantoms?

We at Bahamas Press note a pattern of this type of behaviour by the former FNM standard-bearer and FNM supporter for the past 25 years, Branville McCartney. We remind our readers of Rodney Moncur’s statement that he, along with Nicolas Jacques, received a letter from the DNA confirming their nominations in the Bain and Grant’s Town and St. Cecelia constituencies for the upcoming general elections.

However, McCartney, in a September 8th edition of the Tribune, denied any such nomination, when he ought to have known that Moncur and Jacques were given letters by the Party.

Persons in a position to know have confirmed to BP that Moncur and Jacques had received letters of confirmation, which indicates to us that McCartney did not speak the truth.

As the saying goes “the proof is in the pudding” as both Moncur and Jacques are standard-bearers for the FNM Farm team, the DNA.

McCartney is appearing more and more to be a ‘Flim Flammer’. We here at BP would say, “It’s a Matter of Trust”. Who can you trust more? Papa Doc or Baby Doc? They have the same DNA, which is red.
