FNM APOLOGIST and “Softball”/Tennis star is a Jailbird
NASSAU, Bahamas — There is a political hack going around the airwaves of late sullying the good names of PLP candidates. This jackass is Calvin Farquarson, the special FNM attaché at Atlantis.
Recently he called into a show to berate the name of a young man who, many would conclude, climbed the ladder of success the right way.
Farquarson, on the other hand, cannot say the same. You see, Bahamas Press Senior Team has a long memory in this country and, when we cannot remember, we go to our archives to inform you, our readers, of the snapshots in history that may have been forgotten by some.
Many in the FNM forget or fail to remember how this same Farquarson “FNM APOLOGIST” was arrested and charged in a rape incident. In fact, his victim back then was an elderly woman.
Perhaps his hate for the PLP came following that conviction when he spent his young days behind bars for rape – THAT’s a FACT!
While in prison, old “Farkie”, some say, had lips that worked wonders for some on remand. Some tell the story of the “OPULANCE” in delivering benevolence to some with whom he became close.
His name in the prison back than was “BIG PUSS SHERRY” where he was known for his ability to sit in the laps of hardened criminals and squeeze bumps perform manicures and pedicures for sweet milk. He, we are told, use to ‘toss salad’ very well.
Rape back then was not a respected crime and so “Big PUSS Sherry” had to find ways to become the prison’s number one slut in order to gain protection.
Big PUSS Sherry’s second stint in prison came after his crime of committing fraud. While his sentence was shorter this time, during this time behind bars, his unsociable hate for the PLP waxed into an iron clad Red, enough to commit any kind of damage to persons he claims are Gold.
Sherry cannot blame anyone for his actions which landed him behind bars most of his days as a youth. He should blame himself!
So the next time you hear a caller on the radio claiming in grandeur “My name is Calvin Farquarson”, please correct him and reply, “No, it’s Big Puss Sherry”!

i never spent any time in the us prison system–not unless graduating from the u of bridgeport in 1978 with a ba degree in philosophy, minoring in business administration–is considered a prison. but what is prison is being a person with a mindset to claim to know my history, which leads to the serious conclusion that danger is ever present–but still chooses to test it. u sound to me like you are a person who is too afraid to commit suicide–but wish for me to do you a favor and commit homicide.
I have heard Farquie calling in to the various radio talk shows to defend the FNM on numerous occasions.I think Farquie is too partisan in his political views.He is no different than several rabid supporters of the PLP,however.But BP I think you are wrong to write such vile things about the man.Whoever wrote this piece obviously has no morality at all.This is journalism at its worst.I cry shame on the author.

The Bahamas is long past crying; the Bahamas is weeping and wailing and now you are witnessing the gnashing of teeth. This results when persons unwisely put their trust in untrustworthy people and the fruit becomes bitter in their mouth and sad to say for many of the Bahamians who trused their Papa it has become bitter to their lives. You pick a fight be ready to get a blow thrown back at you. Bahamians only realize that there are international eyes on us when they want it to suit their purpose.
