Murder count is now 100 victims
Nassau, Bahamas — Breaking news coming into Bahamas Press from the island of Bimini confirms the island has recorded the 100th murder for the country.
Reports confirms that sometime around 2am this morning a fight broke out at the Island House club in Alice Town which resulted in the stabbing death of a young Andros fisherman.
The young man, believed to be in his early 20s, was at the club when the fight broke out and the victim was stabbed multiple time about the body.
He was rushed to the island clinic where he was pronounced dead.
Just this week task force officers landed on Bimini and arrested 7 island natives for that major drug bust on the island last week.
School had to be let out early as tension grew around the community police station.
The crime wave appears to continue with last evening a resident of West Grove being the victim of a multiple stabbing incident. BP can now report the wife of Fritz Stubbs in indeed the victim of a home invasion. She was stabbed multiple times about the body.
And in Turks and Caicos residents there are jubilant after the return of government to that British Territory. The former ousted PNP government won the majority of seat in that country.
Dr. Rufus Ewing leader of the PNP is expected to form the new government early next week.
