Nassau, Bahamas — We’re glad to hear that Troynico McNeil is back in the news. And if  you did not know, McNeil is the man being accused of the murder of fashion designer Hal Taylor. This case is important because if you do remember Bahamas Press reported that our deep throat on the Royal Bahamas Police Force stated that a young officer was put on leave after he discovered Taylor dead in his home.

Back then twenty-one years-old McNeil in 2008 was brought before the courts and charged to have allegedly murdered Taylor between November 17 and 18, 2007.

Taylor’s mutilated body was discovered on Sunday 18th. His murder came just a days following the discovery of Dr. Thaddeus McDonald, who was murdered at his home on Queen’s Street [the most guarded street in the entire Bahamas, the address of the United States Embassy].

News of Taylor’s death sent shock waves throughout the community and spawned a public scare that a “SERIAL MURDERER of SISSIES” was on the loose. Whoever started that scare in the WUTLESS MEDIA must know the killer or was VERY familiar with the lifestyles of those murdered.

We are interested in this case because to this very day, LITTLE IS SAID STILL about this officer, who was sent on leave out of the country by the ‘HIGH COMMAND’ of the RBPF. McNeil was reported to have a broken leg during the time of Taylor’s murder, which would’ve made it impossible for him to commit such violence.mcneil-copy

There’s a question we must ask however. How come McNeil returned so quickly returned to The Bahamas? You would remember, that on July 4th, 2008, police in Miami arrested McNeil on a matter not related to Taylor’s murder. The Bahamian Gestapo police was ready to protect their own, therefore, according to them McNeil was a “person of interest” they were eager to get back in Nassau.

Within hours, they quickly made their request for McNeil to be brought back here to The Bahamas to face charges. On July 27th, twenty-three days later, Chief Superintendent of Police Glen Miller said, McNeil is still a person of interest.

“We do need to bring him home,” Mr. Miller said. “We are not sure when that will happen because there are some things that US officials are doing and whenever they are done with that we will bring him home.” Notice the stress, “WE WILL BRING HIM HOME!”

In less than one month of his capture in Miami, early August 2008, McNeil was deported from the United States and was formally charged before the Magistrate’s Court for the death of the fashion designer.

Here are some additional FACTS. Andre Birbal has been in US custody since Sunday May 4th according to Marvin Dames and our sources in New York. It took more than one month for the AG’s office to sign an official extradition request to the American government to have Birbal returned to The Bahamas.

It has taken MORE THAN A MONTH FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF THE BAHAMAS TO FORMALLY ASK THE US FOR A MAN, WHO RAPED SCORES OF YOUNG BOYS AT THE EIGHT MILE ROCK HIGH SCHOOL ON GRAND BAHAMA!

July 4th, this Saturday, would make two months since Birbal was captured. Again, he’s WANTED IN THE BAHAMAS for RAPING SCORES OF CHILDREN and has yet to return. The GESTAPO Police went out their way to get McNeil, but are tight-lipped on the return of Birbal. And we know why.

Carl ‘UNDERNOURISHED’ Bethel’s ministry allowed Birbal to come to Nassau, collect his package and aided in an escape out of this town. Soon, VERY SOON, BP will say why the police wants Birbal lost in the US! WHAT A SHAME!!!!!!!

Click and listen to this report from ZNS calling for Solidarity against Child Abuse. While we applaud their efforts, we ask these questions, where is the call for JUSTICE? Where is the call telling the government to ACT? And where were these people when Troy Garvey was the sole voice on Grand Bahama pleading for the arrest of a Andre Birbal? WE NEED CHANGE PEOPLE!

  1. Mr. Garvey is right; we need to join hands on this one. Birbal robbed those children of their innocence and if we sit down on this, I could see more sexual predators getting bolder and bolder. We must try to stop them in their tracks and the only way we would be able to do that is to speak out on this matter. Another school year is getting ready to start in September and innocent little children will be heading back to classrooms and we don’t know what experience they will encounter this school year, let do our best to make sure they are not taken advantage of, by not turning a blind eye to what has happened to those children at EMR. Let’s sent a clear message to the government that things of this nature are unacceptable and would not be tolerated. If anybody hurt little children there will be hell to pay.

  2. I AM ASKING ALL OF US TO JOIN HANDS AND SEEK THE ANSWERS AS TO WHY? I AM IN THE PROCESS OF COMING INTO NASSAU TO PROTEST THE AG’S OFFICE TO GET THE ANSWERS TO THESE UNANSWERED QUESTIONS AS TO WHY IS’NT BIRBAL HERE AS YET! I WILL NOT LET THIS REST AND THE MEDIA IS GOING TO BE FORCED TO REPORT!! PLEASE JOIN ME IN THIS FIGHT.I WILL POST THE DATE HERE ON TUESDAY 7TH JULY 2009

  3. Kim, I’m just angry. There is something very unsettling about this issue. It says a whole lot about how we regard our children. This country is plagued with numerous issues, but some things are just sacred. When we send our children to school, we are entrusting them to others. Mr Birbal exploited those young boys and took their innocence. Can you imagine the psychological trauma? Can you imagine how it must feel to know that this man was allowed to leave the country? And now even though he has been caught there is a almost a lack of desire to bring him to justice….WOW!

  4. @Trinity

Something is definitely wrong and ZNS and the rest of the wutless media don’t want to get into it. Their hands are all dirty if they fail to seek justice for innocent children.

  5. @Kim Sands
Kim, I am ashamed of this government. The response to this situation is sending a clear message to the Bahamian people. These are school-aged children. They are our future. The government has to give an account for their lack of action in this matter. Even the mainstream media have allowed this story to die. I simply cannot understand why there isn’t the same tenacity to go after this man as they would anyone accused of such crimes. There is obviously some information that is being kept back from the public. It has been months since Birbal was caught in NY. He should be here by now even in keeping with the protocol.

  6. The government was determine to get McNeil back here, they was not wasting time playing with him. They did what they had to do in order for him to be returned to this country. Where is the same determination in the Birbal extradition matter? Something very wicked gone down that is the only justification there could be for our government to be dragging their feet. Their behavior is very questionable and it seems so shady that it has sent a shock wave through out the nation and perhaps the world. Who would have ever believed they would have live to see this day when little children innocents would have been stolen from them and our leaders reaction would have been so weak? Their response has certainly caught so many people of guard. I can’t imagine what reason the government would have for not wanting Birbal back here to face these repulsive charges. There is a very unsettling feeling that just would not go away and my mind keep telling me something despicable is involved and they don’t want it to come out in the open for all to know, because we would definitely be in for a shock to learn who all are mixed up in it. Right now, it seem like Birbal is the one calling all the shots and hiding all the aces up his sleeve and our government must find ways to beat him at his game. The information that he has must be very damaging and that might explain the reason they are so afraid to cross his path.

  7. BAHAMAS PRESS! I DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR,THAT,I,TROY GARVEY WILL,IN ALL DUE RESPECT,MAKE KNOWN TO ALL THOSE NECCESSARY,WHY BIRBAL MAY BE HINDERED INTO BEING EXTRADITED BACK TO THE BAHAMAS.

    TALK ABOUT TRUST? TRUST ME!!!

  8. We are sitting on the edge of reckoning of our true leadership in this country! We are awaiting the decisions of our leaders! Are we going to prove to the NATION that we are INDEPENDENT and DECISIVE in our GOVERNANCE? Who are the ones are entitle to protection? Please allow me a few seconds!

Bahamians,we have allowed too many, for too long,to take advantage of our people and our country and especially our CHILDREN!! Our children are suffering to the hands of the predators, while the public just sit aside and do absolutely nothing.GOD is on the move to take back what the devil has stolen and there is nothing that we can do about it!All we can do is join hands across this nation and show the evil doers that righteousness will prevail in this country.
ANDRE BIRBALL will be extradited and if he’s not this country will not be the same again.
I urge the AG’S office to do the honourable thing and see to it that JUSTICE will be served. We all know just how swiftly can our AG’S OFFICE EXPEDITE THEIR DUTIES.

WE ARE WATCHING AND AWAITING ON YOUR RESPONSE MR.A G.
SAVE OUR CHILDREN 2 SAVE OUR COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  9. @Russell Johnson
So much wickedness going down on this lil island. It aint long before God send one category 5 hurricane to judge this lil island. New Providence is awash in wickedness and plenty pastors and politicians mix right up in it!

  10. All the talk of electric monitoring will and can only work if citizens of our country are informed of who is being monitored.Since we are paying for the latest technological device being put in place for our benefit then releasing the names of all those under this subscription is in our interest.I am very interested in hearing what evidence the prosecution has since about two other men in the same area are dead and no person is charged. Our country needs leadership and am not speaking of political as this is partisan therefore the church has to step forward and assume the void.I see the Anglicans coming out of their doldrum and leading the charge. We need another Dr HW Brown to say to the Govt.,thus saith the Lord, can these dry bones live?I borrowed that from a taping Charles Carter did a few weeks ago.

  11. I am so disgusted by these stories. Harl Taylor’s murder was given lots of attention. I don’t know how I feel about the accused. I don’t know of his innocence or guilt and I guess it’s up to Mr Munroe to convince people that he is innocent. However, we do know that Andre Birbal molested those young boys, although I am certain that he wasn’t the only one. He should be punished to the full extent of Bahamian law. We have some sick people walking our streets and living amongst us. Media, this is a big reason why I don’t understand why such a big fuss was made over the release of that list of people that were put on bail. We have a right to know about these issues. We have a right to know who is coming into contact with ou children. I saw an article recently that talked about electronic monitoring. But how about a registry that we can go to, in order to view sex offenders, murderers, and any other list. The police should be more interested in protecting the people of this country.
