Nassau, Bahamas — Police have identified the young boy killed in a hit and run traffic accident at St. Vincent Road on Wednesday 11th December 2013 as 3 year old Jordace Rashawn Cjay Kemp of Vinspen Road off Cowpen Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed that around 6:00am the woman was walking east on St. Vincent Road pushing her 3-year-old son in a stroller, when a vehicle travelling in a westerly direction struck them. The vehicle dragged the toddler for a short distance and sped off failing to stop at the scene of the accident. The toddler succumbed to his injuries at the scene and the mother was taken to hospital where she is detained in critical condition.
Police believe that the vehicle involved in the fatal hit and run accident is possibly a dark Honda or an Explorer with front-end damage.
