Nassau, The Bahamas – Commodore Clifford Scavella, along with his senior officers and command staff of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force recently held a one-day leadership symposium at the Bahamas Faith Ministries Centre, on Carmichael Road.
The aim of the forum was geared towards assisting the senior officers in improving the level of team cohesion as a key ingredient for the overall effectiveness of the RBDF. The Minister of National Security and Immigration, Tommy Turnquest delivered the opening remarks. He encouraged the Senior Officers to continue working together as a cohesive entity to achieve a common goal.
Roosevelt Finlayson, facilitator of the event, presented the importance of problem solving, emphasized the fact that everyone is important in getting a job done. Motivational speaker, Dr. Richard Pinder of Bahamas Faith Ministries also addressed the Symposium.
