<<< Paul Moss

Nassau, Bahamas – Strapped for cash into the May 2007 election the PLP returned to the opposition politics  in the country, however, a challenger to Perry Christie for the leadership of the Progressive liberal Party, Paul Moss, confirmed that ALL DEBTS INHERITED BY THE PLP WILL BE PAID IN FULL TO ALL CREDITORS, if he’s confirmed as leader of the Party at the October convention!

Moss made the statement on Friday whilst traveling throughout the region and engaging regional leaders. Moss noted that his concern number one as leader of the PLP would be to set the organization back onto a strong financial footing. “The first plan would be to pay in full every debt now owed by the party. This will be the beginning of many thing to come for the PLP and the people of our great country. Paying all our debts will be a fresh start for my Party, which win the next government,” he declared.

Since the May 2nd general elections the PLP has become strapped for cash, but this is not new. Since the Pindling years the PLP has had money problems. But no one has ever seen the PLP in such a deep financial stew. Under Perry Christie, donors and contributors have stopped giving to the party. He has not thwart the party from collapsing into financial chaos, and that’s Christie’s middle name, “Chaos”! The PLP, we at BP know, owes everyone! They owe so much people – even members of the party are asking them to pay up! Christie is hush on any effort to clear the debt and even on this issue he says not a DAMN WORD!

“Christie so WUTLESS we recently had a fun day to raise money for the crippling organization. My committee raised more than $50,000 for the event, but guess how much money was turned in? Less than $10,000. This is the state of the PLP and the leader is not doing anything to reform the Party,” A member of the PLP Women’s branch told BP.pm_biff

Well, this is the state of the PLP under Christie. We now know the Party has such a cash and credit crisis, the October convention was cut from 5 days to 3 days. “Money is so bad BP, someone suggested a 1 day convention. Could you believe that?” another insider told BP.

Thousands of dollars we now know are owed to the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas [ZNS and stations] by the PLP and there is still no intent by Christie to have the debt paid. And likewise bills have been collected from Abaco in the North to Acklins in the south for events held by the Party and yet still the PLP under Christie refuses to return to a strong financial political organization.

“Who is the treasure of the party? Where is the last treasure’s report? When was the party last audited? What are the current assets of the Party? The PLP nor the FNM for that matter has any transparency to itself and to its own followers, yet these are the people we elect to run the public money election after election. We need change!” another politico told BP.

Bahamas Press has warned the PLP that this is the state a Christie leadership will deliver them whenever an election is called; BROKE, DISORGANIZE and WEAK! It is his political friend Hubert Ingraham who he seeks to keep cemented in the seat of power in this country.

However, we can now confirm that for the first time there’s a new voice is echoing CHANGE! For the first time a political contender is promising to place the PLP on a path of financial strength. “We are prepare to do this, and this we will do when we face the giant in the next general elections,” a supporter of Paul Moss told BP.

On last week BP reported Christie’s threat to anyone challenging him for the leadership of the Party at a meeting on Grand Bahama. Christie told PLPs at that meeting anyone challenging him for the leadership “will be destroyed.” We said his bitter pronouncements was like gasp from the lips of Hitler towards the Jews. In a modern Bahamas there is NO WAY a leader could be so bold as to make such threatening pronouncements.

Members of the Jewish community must not have heard Christie! And people who promote democracy around the world must be sleeping at the WHEEL, AGAIN! How could a leader of a demo0cratic Bahamas find his tongue to threaten people who believes in democracy!?

All the more Christie’s actions recently in Grand Bahama tell us that it’s time for CHANGE in the country! Bahamas Press announced that a dark horse will challenge Christie as leader of the PLP at its upcoming October convention. BP will endorse that candidate challenging him.

We again say, at the end of the PLP’s 3 day convention, the entire leadership within the party will have a new face.

  1. Paul Moss says he wants to bring change to the party and the country, but,how are you bringing change, if you want to buy the leadership of the PLP. By saying, make me your leader and I will pay the 3million dollar debt.

If you now want to buy the people and the PLP, then, what kind of leader and or prime minister will you be. Can we trust you to do the right thing. Will this same 3 million come back to haunt you. And is this your personal 3 million you offering to pay.

  2. @Peace

  3. @20 SOMETHING YEAR OLD
CHECK THE RECORD 20 SOMETHING YEARS OLD,IN 2005 I WAS THE ONLY PERSON STOOD UP TO THE PLP WHEN N.E.M.A DID NOT DO WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO DO,I DON’T PLAY POLITICS WHEN IT COMES TO THE WELL BEING OF PEOPLE’S LIVELYHOOD 20 SOMETHING…/

2005 WAS WHEN WE WERE HIT WITH A MOST DANGEROUS STORM IN G.B. WILMA..
I WAS SAFE ALOMG WITH MY FAMILY,BUT WHEN I GOT A CALL THAT PPL WAS IN THE ROOFS OF HOUSES IN THE HOLMES ROCK AREA I GOT MY BROTHER WITH HIS BOAT AND WE LEFT FREEPORT IN THE BRUNT OF THE STORM TO SAVE THOSE PPL..AFTER THE STORM,I WAS THERE AWAITING THE ARRIVAL OF N.E.M.A BUT INSTEAD,THEY WERE RIDING AROUND GRAND BAHAMA WITH THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE PLP..WILL I’LL BE — DAMN…PPL STANDING AND LOOKING FOR RELIEF FROM N.E.M.A,ALL THE WHILE N.E.M.A FOLLOWING THE PLP WAGON. INSTEAD, THE PLP ADMINISTRATION SHOULD HAVE DIRECTED THOSE PERSONS RESPONSIBLE IN N.E.M.A TO THE MOST DEVASTATED AREAS TO ASSESS THE DAMAGES AND BRING RELIEF….

SO,WHEN YOU SAY IF THEY WAS IN POWER,IF I WOUKD OF DONE THE SAME THING?ASK MR.CHRISTIE,OBIE WILCHCOMBE AND THE REST OF THE BAHAMIANS WHO LISTENED TO DAROLD MILLER SHOW,IN 2005 AFTER THAT STORM AND FIND OUT IF IT MATTERS WHO IN CHARGE!!!!!!!!!

CHECK IT OUT 20 SOMETHING YEAR OLD…

  4. For those who chose Mr.Ingraham and for those who chose not to vote, made us as a people look stupid. For us as a people who are suppose to be christian minded and so called educated people, should have seen Mr. Ingrahams lies.

Mr. Christie warned us about the dark forces, and we chose not to believe the message or the messenager. He asked us not to turn back.
Of course Mr. Christie should have been more direct and specific.

But such as life, we as a people should have been more discerning. We are to gullible. We allowed the awful punch and others to dicate what we know are wrongs, lies and down right nasty and chalk it up truth for our great benefi. It has crippled us and made distrustful and backstabbers.
    It has ruined many.

It is time we grow up and behave as people that we know we can be.

  5. @Kim Sands
Liar, liar pants on fire.Thats the best way to describe HAI who just so happens to be our PM.What a legacy he will leave when he finally is defeated at the polls. When I think of the proposed sexual act amendment I wonder why we cant pass a law to stop PMs threatening their people and causing Cabinet Ministers to act like kids.Three more yrs at the most of this spiteful, vindictive regime.I have heard the loud cries for change but just wonder if we are of only speaking about the opposition.Govts control the pulse of a country.

  6. Yeah well if Moss don’t work his magic now, ain’t even going to be a convention for him to run at. Pay the bills now Paul!

  7. @Peace

I don’t believe anybody on here in their right minds would be searching for a loud, vulgar, egotistic and disrespectful person to be their leader. No we are not looking for a male or female jungalist to be our leader. We just want someone with integrity that would look out for best the interest of the country. You should know we are not looking for any such person, why you think Ingraham had to lie to the people and tell them he changed and he is more calmer now, since he have grandchildren, because he knew if people still viewed him as the boisterous and rude person he was the last time he was in power, they would of never voted him back into office. You believe Ingraham dumb aye?

  8. Mr. Christie reputation as a pushover is overwhelming and it is just the reason why inexperienced people like Mr. Moss think that they can beat him in an election. I have no doubt that Mr. Moss is talented but if change is what we are looking for it has to start with requiring more that just words and the promise of jobs, money, etc., that is not change that is the normal MO of Bahamian politics now. Mr. Moss can change politics by simply bringing some substance to the table and by initiating a debate with Mr. Christie. There has to be another way of the public and the PLP delegates to know of Mr. Moss’ capabilities than trusting the words of his supporters. Although I believe that more young people need to play visible rolls in politics and nation builders, your being young should not be the only requirement or the most important. Let just look at Tommy T and his run as FNM leader, he was young, Mr. Ingraham backed him and that was a desaster from the beginning. There is still something to say for those who are not afraid to follow, to be the proteges of the current leaders and then with experience gained make the changes that they KNOW NOT THINK need to be made. The inside of someones house looks different from the outside looking through the window because you do not see the entire picture. Mr. Christie has seen the entire picture and still thinks that he can do something to clean the house I say that Mr. Moss should be looking to another position of power, maybe chairman and concentrate on winning a seat in parliament. Mr. Christie also needs some pressure put on him to set somethings right within the PLP and the country should he win again. Neither the PLP or the country can continue on the road that they are on.

TO PEACE: I think that Mr. Ingraham has been the worst leader of this country when it comes to foster unity and empowerment and human development. He concentrate too much on his drones instead of building a nation.

  9. people why must we be loud and boorish. I guess that’s when you have a leader like our Prime Minister, that act as such we have such behaviour.

We should only consider those who are civil and respectfull toward others, to our leaders. How far can we get as a people if we are nasty to each other. Then, we wander why crime is out of control, people please.

Why do you all think that Mr. Christie is such a push over.

You have to give people enough rope. He did that, It did not work and he knows better now. It was a lesson well learned. It’s time to move FORWARD, and we will move forward with Mr. Christe.

    Thank You

    I

  10. Well Kim Sands I did say that the fact that Mr. Garvey is speaking out is admirable. I am just saying that people should say what they mean and stop treating Bahamians as fools as if we cant see throught the silhouettes of all of their so called care for the country (SAVE SAUNDERS BEACH) Please. Thats all I am saying.

  11. Troy can u update us on the meeting held last night, I was unable to attended because I had an emergency.

  12. @20 SOMETHING YEAR OLD

We should all be standing up for the rights of the children. What happened at EMRH was simply wrong and I can’t see what politics have to do with any of it. Ministers from both the PLP and FNM should be outraged and calling for Andre Birbal’s head on a silver platter, but instead they are using it as a political ploy and that’s the way they want to treat everything in this country. Well, I always tell people I am a Bahamian first and when these politicians finish playing their games and performing their tricks, it is always the ordinary persons like me who has to suffer the consequences. That is why I don’t defend any of them, because both parties have their share of damages to answer for. This country could have been much further ahead if it were not for greed and if we had men of integrity running it.

  13. @Connie

Connie is right on, we can’t change our leaders just for the sake of changing them. We need people with a vision that will improve the country. Right now, I feel that Perry Christie needs to go home, because so much things is going on in this country and he is not saying much, I don’t know why, but he is very quiet. In the next election, if Perry Christie or anyone else could show us their plans and vision to improve the condition of life for all Bahamians and not for a selective few, why shouldn’t we give that person a chance to lead? I don’t think age should have anything to do with it, it‘s should do with being able to study people and trying to figure out their true motives for wanting to be in office.

  14. Hmm BP Editor, It seems to me that all the barking Mr. Garvey was doing lately was not all for the sake of the people hey, Don’t get me wrong it is honorable and kind for the sake the nations children.

But I would like to ask one question, would Mr. Garvey still be bombarding the media for all of these evil acts against our children IF HIS PLP government was in office? “I am an Engineer of the Progressive Liberal Party (Check the Record)….”hmm BP just wonder I am a 20 something year old and I ain’t no Damn fool either.

  15. Well I understand the frustrations about the old guard we can not let the need for change cloud our judgements because I think that we have to make the next generation of politicians bring more to the table than just rhetoric and promises. They need to bring ideas and execution plans and if Mr. Christie wants to run again he should have to do that same thing. I understand that people want different people in charge but that is only superficial change. People keep saying change BUT WHAT CHANGE ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. What does Mr. Moss propose to change about the country and HOW IS HE GOING TO GET IT DONE. That is an easy enough question. What does he intend to do about crime, education, international affairs, antiquated systems, the judiciary. These are things that he needs to let the people know because IF he wants to be the PLP leader that is the first step to becoming PRIME MINISTER. I just thing that some substance needs to be brought to this leadership race. What is Mr. Moss plan for the PLP and the Nation and how is he going to make sure that his plan is feasible and will be successful.

Barack Obama ran on change as well but he was a senator for fours years and KNEW what needed to be changed and knew how he was going to do it. Mr. Moss should bring no less to the table. As for Mr. Christie, being the veteran politician that he is he had better know that the same old M.O. in governance is not going to work this time. He had to make sure that the PLP and the Bahamas know that he means business and that he is coming back was a vegeance to make things better.

  16. AS A YOUNG BAHAMIAN,I AM TIRED OF THE SAME OLD POLITICS RUNNING THE SAME GAME ON ALL OF US…WHY IS IT,THAT,THE SAME PEOPLE HAS TO BE THE ONES TO HELP RUN THIS COUNTRY?THESE PERSONS ARE HAND PICKED TO RUN AND IT’S ONLY BCUZ OF THE PERSONS INVOLVED IN FRONTLINE POLITICS WHO ALLOW CERTAIN PERSONS THE OPPORTUNITIES AND THEY ALL OTHERS OUT…WELL…WE ARE SAYING THAT THIS IS A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY,AND WE ARE GOING TO EXERCISE THAT OPPORTUNITY!!!TELL ME WHATS WRONG WITH THAT?! TO ME,IT SEEMS AS IF PAUL IS BEING BOMBARTED,BYV THOSE,IN POPULAR POSITIONS,TO HAVE HIM DENIED OR FRUSTRATED,SO THAT THERE WILL BE NO CONTEST..

I WILL SAY TO ALL OF YOU,I AM AN ENGINEER OF THE PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL PARTY (CHECK THE RECORD) AND AS A YOUNG AND ASPIRING PLP,I AM LOOKING TO CHANGE THIS COUNTRY AND THE PARTY LEADERSHIP,IN ORDER FOR US TO RISE TO ANOTHER LEVEL…

I AM SUPPORTING PAUL MOSS AND IT WILL BE DETERMINED AT THE CONVENTION,THAT PAUL WILL DELIVER TO THE PEOPLE,WHAT THEY ARE LONGING FOR..AND..THATS..CHANGE..THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PERSONALITIES AND IN REFERENCE TO MR.CHRISTIE,I HAVE ALL THE RESPECT FOR MY FORMER PRIME MINISTER AND MY NOW LEADER OF THE PLP…DON’T GET IT TWISTED..IT’S JUST THAT I AM DOING WHAT I DO BEST AND THATS LOOKING OUT FOR THE YOUNG AND THE YOUNG AT HEART…

WE WILL DELIVER AND WE DO ASK FOR YOUR FULL SUPPORT WHEN PAUL MOSS EMERGE AS THE NEWLY ELECTED LEADER OF THIS GREAT AND HOUNORABLE PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL PARTY….

I AM FIGHTING “TOWARDS A BETTER WAY”

  17. I cant believe that we are crying out for change but accepting the same old promises. Everyone that wants office goes areound promising to do this, that and the other. While Mr. Moss seems to be a charismatic person. I am waiting for all these change agents to put their plans on the table for us to view. I think that we need to know HOW exactly all this change is coming about. Mr. Moss seems to be very intelligent but I think that he seems to want to jump from the cheap seats to the VIP section in a single bound. This is serious people, the person that leads that PLP may well end up being the leader of this country and look at the hell we are reaping now because we have a leader that either did not know what he is doing for all these years or is just that sinister and mean.

Mr. Moss will have to bring a better game than just to promise the paying of bills. What is the difference of him doing that and putting money in a T-shirt. If he is after real change money should not be apart of this equation he needs to bring his ideas for change and an plan to executive. Now on the other hand Mr. Christie should know by now that the changes that he tried to foster in his first administration did not work. He should know that because of what people perceive as his blind trust in some people he ended up out of office. He needs to realize that this is not an easy road and that he has to do the same thing, he has to foster permanent positive change in the Bahamas because the corrupt, duplicitous way of life here is not sustainable.

  18. @JR
But Jr, your waiting for us to answer your questions and you fall flat dead on answering ours. THIS IS INCREDIBLE. You confirm you had THIEVES inside and we agree. You charge that we are being paid, denied and you say not a word.

Now you go on this lecture of who thief what! Wll did you not remember JR [Mrs Christie] your husband appointed Philip Galanis as his election co-ordinator? Did you not know your husband appointed the man who had leave front line politics because of some QUESTIONABLE LINKAGES TO MISSING MONEY? Yinner WUTLESS PLPS does forget now.

An now you questioning who was running the campaign when the PUSSY CAT appointed the THIEVES!!!!!!!!

Christie has had his run and JR accept it, its time for him to GO!

    Bahamas Press/Editor

  19. @JR
Well I’ll bet you, JR, you really don’t know anything about BP. But those who think we’re like that, must certainly be getting PAID to come on here and SPIN comments in the favour of Perry Christie.

Why are you in all the PLP business JR? Why were you listening on the phone when the EDICT was being read to Christie? How did you know someone in the Women’s Branch of the PLP took the $40,000 and left PLP women in a state of SHOCK! [ALL THESE INCIDENTS GA TAKE OUT CHRISTIE YOU WATCH!]

And with all this being FACT, you mean to tell us THAT PUSSY CAT name Christie just allowed that THIEF to get away with all them people hard earned money?

MANNNNN, WE SEE WHY YINNER IN A MOUNTAIN OF DEBT! If that was Hubert, boyyyyyy you know what was ga happen with that INSIDE THIEF. See Jr that’s the difference right there between the PIT BULL and the Pussy CAT, one will destroy the other.

Oh and that meeting for the Dark Horse tonight was GREAT JR, just GREAT! Call up some of ya goons and ask them how they think it was….We know Christie ain’t sleeping tonight now he hear we on the ground rallying people to kick his hip OUT, OUT AND STAY OUT!

    Bahamas Press/Editor

  20. Media knows that a good portion of the PLPs’ money problems did come from the election debt run up by unscrupulous “supporters” who saw being on the campaign team as a means of milking the cow good. Why didn’t BP write about the young fella who bought a whole German luxury car off of money he should have been spending to do the job he was given in the campaign, or the fellas who made all the money making bogus announcements. We won’t ever hear about them because that is the culture of these same people who are now screaming for Christie’s head.

Where I give Christie wrong in racking up these bills is in the fact that he trusted those snakes too easily with the cookie jar. If he had his eyes on people and less trust that they would do right, I am sure the PLP would not have had these mysterious money bills popping up left, right and centre. But that is the game and you are right, ultimately, the leader has to bear the responsibility of it all. Thats not to say that the dirt other people do are his responsibility. Too many of you people are just damn corrupt and crooked and can’t be trusted with the collection basket.

The other part of the PLP’s money problem is that they let things linger too long and don’t address things at the outset. When you add that to the fact that you have a chairman who can’t raise two pennies in two years, you could see how things would look the way they look. Raynard had his connections and could always find the money from somewhere. What this gal doing is a mystery to anyone with sense. All I know is that the PLP is rolling on one wheel and with suckers like Paul who think they must hold whatever assistance they give over the party’s head in exchange for it, we’re better off out of office. IF thats the deal Paul is offering, and BP supports that, then neither of you can talk about “change” because that only proves that in this game, its pay to play still.

Just who’s money is footing the bill is a question I am still waiting to hear BP answer.

  21. Again with the lies and distortion. In both of our posts, we mentioned someone making off with money. In my first post on the matter, I said very clearly, in fact you copied it, that this particular slimeball submitted “bills” for 80% of the money made. That is what I referred to as “theifin'” following your lead.

There is nothing anyone can do about that. Everybody knows it was wrong but you can’t call the police behind that and you and your lying self know that and know better. I’m surprised you didn’t name the culprits. Oh, let me guess, they’re in your favorites list too eh? And to think you want to go around talking about “change”. Goodness gracious. LOL. You really need to get your stuff right. Even if there was a criminal case of theft to report, the Chairman is the COO – chief OPERATIONS officer of the party so the buck stops with her. But keep spinning media, one day something will appear.

Answer me this. Where is all the money coming from that is being thrown around the place behind this guy? Or are you like Troy Garvey is when he said, “let the man spend if he spending.” Yeah Troy, even people in your Paul Moss camp were disgusted by that attitude and remark. I would bet the farm some dollars came BP’s way to make sure Paul looked good. Is that so?

  22. JR :
Omar, how is it that Perry Christie is now a “has been” but yet, you have no difficulty expressing your “undying support” for him in other forums. Being for Paul doesn’t mean you have to try and diss the same man you spend plenty time sucking up to.
I could list a bunch of reasons why Paul is unfit for leadership in the PLP without even bothering to go where you went but if I did, you and the rest of the Paul Posse would say, see, look he’s attacking Paul. The hypocrisy, and yours in particular Omar, is amazing to see in action. If you ever wonder why nobody takes you seriously in the PLP Omar, its for things like this. Promote your candidate without mentioning a word about Perry Christie and I’ll be impressed. People should be voting FOR Paul, not against Perry. If it were that simple then I can assure you, there would have been a longer list of challengers to Perry, all of them more qualified than Paul.
So that is your challenge Omar, Tristan, Troy and anyone else in the Paul Posse. Impress the rest of us with the viability, competence and vision of your candidate, complete with his track record of leadership and team play and do it without mentioning a word about Perry Christie. If any of you can do that, with provable claims, then Paul deserves to be leader of the PLP. Until then, idle baseless talk like what Omar just delivered should be saved for the barroom where such conversations hardly rely on facts, just who’s buying the next round.
Can any of you tell us why Paul is no longer in the FNM?
[Reply]media Reply:August 17th, 2009 at 9:28 pmWell Mrs. Christie perhaps you can tell us all now that you brought this question to the public? Please do! As you know Bahamas Press is free to all, therefore, we hope you will share what you know with all of us.
    Bahamas Press/Editor
    [Reply]

I agree with you 100%.. That’s why I told Omar that he can’t make it in any party he joins because he speaks out of both sides of his mouth and NEVER seems to know what to say.. No one can trust Omar!!! And if he is supporting Paul, I will NEVER support Paul!!!

Omar can’t seem to do anything without mashing down someone else… He is a real black crab.. I believe I saw his picture in the dictionary the last time I looked up ‘black crab’!!! LOL…

  23. As we said earlier JR it appears you are avoiding the fact that Perry Christie has left the PLP in a state of financial chaos. People in the PLP are owed for stage lighting, sound, sound system and everything else needed in a general election.

For some reason you cannot come to grips, JR, with fact that PLP owes even the Devil for items delivered to them. This is SHAMEFUL TO KNOW; that the people who seek to lead a country cannot keep their own fiscal house in order.

It is on this FACT that we are telling PLPs, as we did tonight at a gathering in the southeast, to DELIVER CHANGE AT THIS OCTOBER MEETING! Tomorrow’s meeting will be in another part of the country and BP will be speaking! We’ve gone on the ground to make change HAPPEN and MAKE SURE CHRISTIE never returns after OCTOBER!

Now that that is established, Jr, let us ask you this question again, IF SOMEONE DID INDEED ‘THIEF’ $40,000 of THE FAIR MONEY, Why didn’t the leader suspend the persons responsible for that event and call the police? See Jr. no matter how you SPIN, it still falls back to Christie’s door!

    Bahamas Press/Editor

  24. Media, where you draw these stupid conclusions from, God only knows. I don’t write from or speak for the Christie compound but I have told you before that if thats the game you want to play, I can play along as well, as long as I get to call you by your names. Just give me the word.

Like I said earlier, how you line these things up is a stretch. If the Chairman is responsible for an event and some crookery went down, then that makes her responsible, not the leader. You really pushing it if this gal has no blame when she screws up and you put it all on Perry. Let her score one and you heap all the praise and screw Perry. Its a no win situation because of how you spin it. Don’t believe me? Go look at how BP spun the Sidney Collie story.

Buddy, if you are going to put the story out there, like I told you before, be sure to come correct and accurate because people who know how these things go won’t stand for the continuous lies. I wonder how many times that is now that I’ve caught you in a lie. Hmmmmm. And you so fool, all you care about is if a lil piece of the story is true. LOL. Like I have told you before, you sometimes do have the gist right but your lies twist things to suit your purpose. Like the old folks say, BP makes Cow for pasture. LOL.

  25. Laugh out Loud BP YOUR CONTRIBUTION ADDS TO THE HUMOR TOO. FATHER GOD THIS WEBSITE HAS BECOME LIKE A GOOD PORN MOVIE AND SMOKING.. SOOOOO ADDICTIVE. DELIVER ME FROM THIS WEBSITE I PRAY AMEN…

  26. Paul is married I believe he is straight. I hope you are cuz you watchin the man a little too hard!!

  27. Naughty, “Johnny” Tucker you said… PAUL I HAVE NO PROBLEM SUPPORTING YOU BUT I HOPE YOU ARE STRAIGHT… SEXUALITY IS A MAJOR ISSUE…

It is amazing to see, just wearing a LARGE pinstrpe suit can through a PLP out of the race.
PAUL, some PLP’s have very shallow mind. so STOP WEARING the pinstripe suit, it reminds us soo much about ” Mr. Pinstripe.”

  28. @johnny tucker

i too apologize. things got out of hand. let’s try to have a civilized discussion.

    • We will only say this, for us at Bahamas Press to be this close to rid this country of these WUTLESS leaders in place and also now have such a world WIDE civil audience watching our every moves; we would be a DAMN FOOL to allow anyone to turn this blog into some gutter production. Get a WUTLESS morning paper write your comment to them and sign ya real names to it when you wish to come on here talking like that!

      Bahamas Press/Editor

    • Listen you guys we are not, NOT going to tolerate this SALACIOUS NASTY conversation between you and Mashup. NO WAY! Yall think this is the WUTLESS judiciary which cannot rule matter ech? STOP IT NOW!

      Bahamas Press/Editor

  29. Mash up you will learn the hard with if you keep up this kind of language on here. I WILL NOT ACCEPT your profanity and salacious comment on here. STOP IT NOW!

    Bahamas Press/Editor

  30. @mashup
Mash up ya ma is a “fool” he who live by the sword should also die by it!!! You too are using language that offends. Not strange you’re defending “‘Bar’bie” Pinder though.” birds of a feather flock together” What you fail to understand is whenever the trth is told BP allows it to be filtered through un-censored. J T may be controversial be he presents facts.
So that is the reason for the diplomatic immunity that I enjoy on BP.. I write BP publishes ” and ya cud take it to mamma”

  31. JR :
@ Tristan, this is what comes with the territory. If Paul or his supporters can’t take the chaffing, then maybe he’s not as tough as one would want in a leader.
@BP, good story but once again, you take some simple facts and twist them for your own purposes. So now I have to ask questions again. Why isn’t BP telling its readers that the PLPs fundraising for regular operations and expenses is normally handled by the Chairman, not the leader, and that on more than one occasion, basic utilities at Gambier House have been turned off on her watch. Why doesn’t BP point out that fact? Why doesn’t BP tell its readers that since the fire that almost destroyed PLP HQ, who has paid for most of the restoration out of their own pocket. Tell them BP. Or do you want me to tell them for you?
The same Perry Christie you call wutless.
Why doesn’t BP tell the true story about the money from the PLP fest they had a couple of months ago when they did in fact raise $50,000 but got bills totaling more than $40,000 from certain all-for-me-money grubbing suckers for things that were actually donated? Tell them BP. Tell them that the person who was responsible for that event and the money coming back in was none other than the chairman. Why doesn’t BP tell the truth and the whole truth instead of trying to spin a lie to make what Paul is promising sound better? Why isn’t BP telling its readers that the PLPs’ payables were almost zero under the former chairman but under this one, they can’t seem to pay anyone for anything. I know thats your gal BP but you have to put right where right is. But what do you do? You spin spin spin, hoping for something to come out to get your troops up.
BP, you don’t have to do that. I know you know all the right people and should have been able to tell your readers that Paul Moss did in fact dip into his pockets during the last campaign and paid some bills. That he did do and thats wonderful but to lie about the other issues you have here is pure BP. Anything to make the case eh? Even when its not close to being true.
I guess you left that one alone because Paul wasn’t the only one to do that eh? Too bad some of the others aren’t on BP’s agenda to promote. I hope they paying you good buddy because the stories are getting outrageous. I now Troy Garvey got his share. LOL. Sing for your supper Troy, sing.

Well well well the Christie compound is once again back on here priming a pump of lies to deflect from the story. The story here is about Paul yes, but it is even more about Christie.

Your response JR gives our story credibility! You agree our story has merit. SOMEONE IN THE WOMEN BRANCH ‘THIEF’ THE MONEY FROM THE FAIR!

Now that that is established, let us ask you this question, IF SOMEONE DID INDEED ‘THIEF’ $40,000 of THE FAIR MONEY, Why didn’t the leader suspend the persons responsible for that event and call the police? See Jr. no matter how you SPIN, it still falls back to Christie’s door!

  32. i dont blame paul for not paying the debt first, because if he looses, mark my word, christie will not give him the nomination! and that is a FACT! there are persons who support christie, who are very angry that moss has made be known that he has intention of running for the leadership! personally, i dont think he is going to win, however, i am in his corner. i think he along with the other horsemen,(fitzgerald, k.dorsett, and l.ryan pinder) has a lot to offer we need a group of young men to lead this party. it is very sad that a man of moss’s talent would not be utilized by christie, just because he was challenged! moss is a rather proactive and no nonsense young man! and as a leader, i know he will not settle for mediocrity. you my dear mr. moss, you have my blessing!go , and may the lord be with you!!!!!!!!

  33. Paul used to be an FNM? Under Kendall Isaacs, or Sir Cecil, or Henry Bostwick? Could not have been under Hubert Ingraham!

    • Well Mrs. Christie perhaps you can tell us all now that you brought this question to the public? Please do! As you know Bahamas Press is free to all, therefore, we hope you will share what you know with all of us.

  35. @Omar Archer Sr.
As I said earlier What ever Omar Archer, every one knows Cool PC is not GOD but he’s a better man than Paul”can’t trust him”Moss. The best man at this time of the game is Coool PC,like him or not Omar.At least we have a record to look at for Cool PC.What we have to look at for “can’t trust him”Moss. You are right the Devil is a liar if we the PLP vote for “can’t trust him” Moss.Freeport needs to get their mind toghter at one point they were FNM city now they are Paul Moss country you Troy Garvey in Freeport is for Paul “can’t trust him’ Moss.Time will tell and we will tell who the PLP really wants as their leader and I sure it’s not Paul”can’t trust him Moss.

  36. I say if Moss truly wants to flex his muscles, arrange to have the debts paid of now. That would really impress the delegates.

  37. You people are so silly. Perry Christie is a good man not a God!. So what if he is being challenged. The PLP cannot win another general election with Perry Christie as leader. His time has come and gone. He is a political has been. His track record as Minister of Agriculture should have sent a clear warning as to who he really was as a politician. Now all of a sudden he is the best man for the PLP again. THE DEVIL IS A LIAR. Freeport in Paul Moss country, and many more delegates as I have been told are joining the cry for change. It’s time to move in a totally new direction. Perry Christie is finished.

  38. Paul if you are a PLP, and you have the means, then could be so kind as to pay off the dedt. Then, maybe you will looked at as a leader.

  39. @Omar Archer Sr.
What ever,Omar what you Paul Moss and Troy Gravey need to do is form your own a new party, that would be debt free and you would be able to have your own followers and not steal the ones from the PLP.

  40. I know Paul personally. He doesn’t say things to impress people. He say things because he means it. Paul could have the Party’s debt erased in a minute. That’s Real Talk.

  41. Jerome Fitzgerald will challenge PC. He is the only one who fits the description, as far as I am aware, of Johnny Tucker.

  42. “A promise is comfort to a fool”… People promise things everyday but do they deliver? NO!!!! Why not start the fund raisers now Paul if you say you care about this party??? Why wait??

Action speaks louder than words.. Only Troy Garvy seem to be falling for your words, at least on this site!!!

  43. @ali baba
Allyson can’t win her own damn seat you talkin about leadership of the greatest political organization in the history of the Bahamas…. No my friend it’s someone more valliant and courageous than Allyson

That he did do and thats wonderful but to lie about the other issues you have here is pure BP. Anything to make the case eh? Even when its not close to being true.

  45. Its ok to Attack Moss who is a PLP but if you Attack Christie then its an unforgivable sin…WOW!!!

  46. Johnny Tucker what is this I’m hearing about Paulette Zonicle wearing mini skirts to branch meeting.Paulette is a married woman, and a faithful one to.Who are the big wigs that are sissys, call names and shame the Devil.Other wise you are a lier, lier pants on fire.

  47. I think the only reason pc spoke up on the defamation of Sir lyden was beacase Moss was on the horn about it and pc didnt want to look too bad being the leader of the party, he was force to do that other than that i don’t think that he would have done anything…….

  48. Omar digged his own political grave by not being responsible with his mouth!!!! If Paul Moss runs against Cool PC and looses it doesn’t mean his political fate is doomed… Remember the PLP represents or should i say “should represent nonvictimization and the emblem of democracy”

At the end of the day we are all PLP’S.

Maybe Paul is being smart… if he runs against PC knowing he is going to loose at least he is guaranteed a nimination to run in a seat I’m not saying St. Cecilia because Paulette Zonnicle likes to wear those mini skerts at branch meetings…. Alot of those big wigs in the PLP is sissy’s but trust me when I say a good contingent of those brothers are pussy hogs…

    Holla at me PC…

Dibbles :@Johnny Tucker Well Johnny Tucker if Paul Moss is not the Black horse then who’s the Black Horse,we would like to know so that we would know if we want to surport he/she as leader.Cool PC all the way so far Paul Moss joking he needs to get St.Cecilia lock down first, then he can run for leader. What if he lose the leader race then what.As I said before remember Omar Archer with the race for Chairman he lost, and now what happen to him,or for him? NOTHING Paul Moss don’t be in that same shose.
    [Reply]

Omar digged his own grave by not being responsible with his mouth!!! Should Paul run and be unsuccessful this does not seal his political fate in the PLP. Remember the PLP is a or should I say a ” nonvictimization and democratic party”
Maybe Paul Moss is being smart knowing he is fighting a loosing battle but at least Christie can’t deny him candidacy for a seat; I’m not saying he will get the nomination for St. Cecilia because Paulette Zonnicle luvssss to wear mini skirts at high powered branch meetings..huhhh.. yeah some sissys in the PLP for thru but trust JOHNNY TUCKER when he say we still have a handsome amount of PUSSY HOGS in the party……..

    Holla at ya boy PC…

  49. @Johnny Tucker
Well Johnny Tucker if Paul Moss is not the Black horse then who’s the Black Horse,we would like to know so that we would know if we want to surport he/she as leader.Cool PC all the way so far Paul Moss joking he needs to get St.Cecilia lock down first, then he can run for leader. What if he lose the leader race then what.As I said before remember Omar Archer with the race for Chairman he lost, and now what happen to him,or for him? 50. AND SOMEONE PLEASE TELL THE PLANNING COMMITTEE IN THE PLP NOT TO HAVE THAT SISSY MUDDA BOBBY PINDER STARRING ON CENTER STAGE AT THEIR CONVENTION WITH HIS CUMMED FILLED BARATONE VOICE!!! QUESTION, IS PAUL MOSS MARRIED? I DON’T WANT NO SH– !!! PAUL I HAVE NO PROBLEM SUPPORTING YOU BUT I HOPE YOU ARE STRAIGHT… SEXUALITY IS A MAJOR ISSUE…

TRUST JOHNNY TUCKER WHEN HE SAYS PAUL MOSS IS NOT THE BLACK HORSE!!!!!

  51. The truth be told, the PLP really was putting of some shabby conventions lately. No Dramma! No captivating climax! the last good one was when BJ rejoined the party. I don’t see how Christie could be shaking in his boots he could not in his right mind expect to just to go in un-oppose he said nothing all the friggin time… that is waht really disgust me!!! The only time he spoke out was when that toilet paper tabloid defamed the late Sir Lynden…. Sir Lyden’s work will speak for him. God is a God of the living not the dead….

Mr. Christie doesn’t care or has not shown by example that he cares about living Bahamians…. Mr. Christie I have always respected you;I still do but the handwriting is on the wall…

“GOODNIGHT MY FRIEND PARTING IS SUCH SURROW”

  52. @WOW

Very good question! Its very telling that he is using this as a political ploy. Vote for me and I will….

    Heard it all before Paul

Growing up when I wanted to ask my mother for something I would often ask her what I could do around the house – soften her up ya know…

She often responded, “Whatever you see to do do it.” So I say to Paul, “See it Own it” and stop PUSSYING around like our current leader.

As for where he’s getting the money, he caught an inordinate amount of money on the 4-ball on Thursday past -lmao! (just kidding)

  53. If he really cares about the PLP, why doesn’t he work his magic NOW and pay off the debts? What happens if he loses at convention? Will he still do his part to see that the debts are paid off? Will he still want to be a member of the PLP if he loses or doesn’t get the nomination for St’ Cecilia? He has said publicly that if he doesn’t get the nomination, he will run as an independent. Does that sound like a potential Leader of the party? Jokes BP, lone jokes!

  54. Where would Paul Moss get the money from to pay off the debts? Paul Moss no way,and for you Troy Gravey you have a lot to learn about what makes a leader.Time would tell at the great convention. The real leader would be crown, and I’m sure it would not be Paul Moss.

  55. I HAVE TOLD ALL OF YOU THAT PAUL MOSS WILL BE THE NEXT LEADER OF THE PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL PARTY!!!! THIS IS WHAT WE NEED IN OUR PARTY AND OUR COUNTRY,SOMEONE WHO KNOW’S HOW TO GOVERN AND GOVERN RESPECTFULLY…FINANCIAL STABILITY IN ANY INSTITUTION,ORGANIZATION OR EVEN YOUR OWN HOME IS VITAL AND MUCH NEEDED….THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF WHAT IS TO COME IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE,SO STAY TUNED…..
    PERRYS BRIDGE IS FALLING DOWN…

    Alas, the bridge takes us nowhere;
    All sections are in disrepair;
    The columns lack,
    Are spalled and weak;
    We’re stuck,
    We can’t pass
    O’er the creek!

    And so,
    How do we get across?
    Talk to our leader.
    Ask Paul Moss!

    Time’s of the essence
    All around:
    The Perry Bridge
    Is Falling Down!
