Opposition Spokesman on Foreign Affairs and former Foreign Minister Fred Mitchell paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Patrick Manning of Trinidad and Tobago to deliver a gift from former Prime Minister Perry Christie on Wednesday 16th January. The gift is a framed photograph, together with an historical account of the visit of Mr. Manning to Nassau on 29th September 2004. Mr. Manning came at that time to inspect the damage of the hurricane in Grand Bahama and to deliver a half a million dollar donation to the hurricane relief fund. Now that Mr. Desmond Key has died due to injuries received while in Police custody at the Grove Police Station. I will be calling for the charges against Officers Donovan Gardiner and Mr. Tavares Bowleg to be up graded to MURDER! They must be remanded to Fox Hill if not according to what I’ve been hearing, there could be a very serious backlash. This is a very delicate situation and must be dealt with correctly. If that were you or I we would have charged with murder so the same for these officers is what we expect. Let them see how it feels to share a 6 by 8 ft cell with two inmates all sharing one bucket I’ve been told. Life is all about decision.. They made theirs. If Bowleg got any sense he would turn crown evidence on Gardiner. He was just watching according to a witness he did nothing. Don’t be no fool Kingman save your a_s..
