Exuma, Bahamas — Bahamas Press teams down in Exuma are now reporting the death of a Grand Isles employee who lost his life in a traffic accident on the island yesterday afternoon.
BP agents on the ground have confirmed the victim to be, Perez Rolle, of Ramsey Exuma. Perez is the son of Mr Garth Rolle, who was recently inducted in the Bahamas Sports Hall of Fame for his contribution to softball.
He crashed into a utility pole while making his way to work in his white Honda.
We can tell you that sometime around 1:00pm yesterday, the 22-year-old victim was travelling on Queens Highway, Farmers Hill in his Honda Accord, when he lost control of his vehicle.
BP teams confirmed the victim received serious injuries and was taken to the local clinic listed in critical condition.
He later succumbed to his injuries. Relatives confirmed to Bahamas Press Rolle waited almost 8 hours bleeding internally awaiting air ambulance, because his condition was not listed as “SERIOUS”. Well what in the hell is dis?
A team of officers from the Police Road Traffic Department in New Providence will travel to Exuma today, to assist with the investigations.
