Police intercept robbery – Robbers were unsuccessful!
Robbers must now face the underground group for trying to steal money from a numberman! May the Lord Be With DEM!
Nassau, Bahamas — Police are requesting the public’s assistance in solving an armed robbery that occurred on Friday 29th August 2014.
According to reports, around 10:00pm, police received a report of an armed robbery in progress at a business establishment located on Faith Avenue south. Bahamas Press has learned the suspects attempted to rob Bahamadreams, a local number shop in the area.
When police arrived on the scene they saw two armed men exiting the business establishment.
The suspects on seeing the police fired several shots and fled on foot. Police returned fire but was unable to catch the suspects.
One of the suspects was shot, however he continued running. If found dead somewhere later, then we know that is not a murdered victim…
MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS SEIZE ILLEGAL FIREARM, 2 MEN ARRESTED
Nassau, Bahamas – Two men ages 22 and 21 are in custody after police seized an illegal handgun on Friday 29th August 2014.
According to reports, shortly after 10:00pm, Mobile Division officers acting on intelligence conducted a search of the two suspects at Dunmore Street and found a handgun along with a quantity of ammunition in their possession.
The suspects were taken into custody and are expected to appear in court early next week to be formally charged.
POLICE SEEK PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN SHOOTING INCIDENT
Police are requesting the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident occurred on Saturday 30th August 2014.
According to reports, shortly before 3:00am, a man was walking in the area of Cockburn and Market Streets, when he was shot to the back. The victim was transported to hospital via private, where he is detained in stable condition. Investigations are ongoing.
