Case goes cold? Where is 19-year-old Tyler Valles, of Key Largo, Florida
Bailey Town, Bimini — Bahamas Press is following a robbery incident that has caused a man to be sent to Fox Hill on remand!
We can report, Shervin Sawyer, age 24-years-old of Porgy Bay, Bimini was arraigned before Deputy Chief Magistrate Helen Jones in Magistrate Court #3 in Freeport, Grand Bahama.
He was not allowed to enter a plea, and is was arraigned for robbery with violence charge in which a preliminary enquiry will commence on the 1st January 2015 in Magistrate Court #9 in New Providence.
He was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison in New Providence for the meantime.
This matter stems from an incident that was reported to police on the island on the 13th October 2014 in Bimini.
Meanwhile Bahamas Press is hearing absolutely nothing of the men charged in connection of the murder of the President of Oley Valley Youth League, Carl Yerger.
The Berks County, Pennsylvania man was allegedly violently stabbed to death by two men who joined him on his trip to Bimini.
Gaylordsville, Connecticut-native Robert Schwartz, 62, and 19-year-old Tyler Valles, of Key Largo, Florida, were ‘subdued’ and ‘quiet’ as they were lead into court handcuffed together, in March.
The attorney representing the two suspects said Yerger was killed in an accident, after the milling-company owner wandered drunk onto their boat.
Both suspects were given bail and someone say both men have since vanished!
