POLICE are seeking the public’s help in solving two armed robberies that occurred on Saturday 18th October 2014.
In the first incident, shortly before 2:00pm, two men armed with a shotgun robbed a woman at a clothing store located on Cordeaux Avenue of her handbag containing a small amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
In the second incident, shortly after 3:00pm, two men armed with a handgun robbed a business establishment located on Bernard Road of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
Investigations are ongoing.
POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SHOOTING INCIDENT
POLICE are seeking the public’s help in solving a two shooting incidents that has left a man detained in hospital on Sunday 19th October 2014.
According to reports, shortly after 1:30am, a man was standing with several other men in front of a bar located on Malcolm Road East, when two men armed with handguns approached them and demanded cash. The victim along with the group of men ran off and was shot the in the leg by one of the suspects. The victim was transported to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
