STOLEN VEHICLE SUSPECT ARRESTED OVERNIGHT AS POLICE OPERATIONS CONTINUE TO REAP POSITIVE RESULTS

Nassau, Bahamas –– A man who police believed to be behind the theft of a number of vehicles was taken into custody last night as the police anti-crime operation continues to reap positive results

Around 12:30am this morning the police operation team were at Arawak Cay, where they arrested a 19 – year old male after they found a black Honda accord vehicle suspected of being stolen in his possession. Police also found a number of master keys for various vehicles in the suspect’s possession. The suspect is being questioned in connection with a number of stolen vehicle complaints.

The operation, which is consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2015, was under the leadership of Chief Superintendent Clayton Fernander.
