Bahamas Press has learnt two Custom Officers have been hauled before the courts on a number of charges.
Marsh Harbour, Abaco – Reports from the courts confirm Grade 1 Custom Officer, Jessel Cash, age 42 years of Central Pines, Abaco and Custom Guard, Allison Miller, age 55 years of Marsh Harbour, Abaco were both arraigned on Wednesday 9th December 2015 before Magistrate Ancella William-Evans on the following charges;
– Falsification of Account
– Stealing by Reason of Employment
– Forgery
– Possession of Forged Document
Both accuse pleaded not guilty to the charges and were granted bail in the amount of $3,500.00 with one surety. The matter was adjourned to the 11th April 2016 for trial.
