BP has identified the victim as 35-year-old Cyril Cartwright
Nassau, Bahamas — On the eve of St. Valentine’s Day Bahamas Press is still reporting the fact that there is madness – and we say madness – on the streets of the capital with criminals on bail still reeking havoc!
We can confirm the latest homicide victim met his death on Sumner Street in the community of Nassau Village sometime after 8pm tonight.
BP can tell you the victim, who we have identified as 35-year-old Cyril Cartwright, was beaten and stabbed to death! Our sources on the ground tell us the victim was attacked by a group of males following an altercation. He was stabbed multiple times about the body as his blood poured deep into the cold earth. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, police standing against crime – just across town in the Wilson Track community – caught a man in the sale of drugs in the area. The officers approached the suspect who then attempted to run over officers with his vehicle. He was shot by police and is now listed in stable condition under heavy police guard in hospital!
We report yinner decide!
