Another homicide recorded this afternoon in the Grove on 5th Street….

Persons on bail walking up and down with illegal weapons continue to create problems in hotspots….

Nassau, Bahamas — Police were called into the 5th Street and Poinciana Ave. area in the Grove this afternoon shortly before 6pm where a fatal shooting had occurred.

Bahamas Press has confirmed the victim to be one Dave Miller. He was in his gold coloured Toyota Camry when gunmen approached him and fired rounds of gunfire into the victim’s direction before fleeing the scene. Miller died at the scene.

Meanwhile, Bahamian police have three males charged before the courts in the murder of, Keon Dean, who was gunned down in Cable Beach just before the weekend began. Dean was on bail following a gun possession case. He was monitored by ankle bracelet at the time of the incident [UP AND DOWN IN THE STREETS LATE INTO THE NIGHT WHILE ON BAIL MILES AWAY FROM HIS YELLOW ELDER HOME! WHAT IS THIS ABOUT BAIL?].

The men were all in a vehicle that was intercepted by police after an off-duty officer gave chase of a Nissan the suspected gunmen were in.

Dean died in the median in the Cable Beach area opposite the Land Shark Motel.
