POLICE SNATCH ANOTHER FIREARM OUT OF THE HAND OF A SUSPECT WANTED FOR HOUSEBREAKING

Nassau,Bahamas – Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2016, another firearm has been taken out of the hands of a criminal, this time in the Carmichael Road area on Sunday 28th February 2016.

According to reports, shortly after 3:00pm, an officer from the Southwestern Division saw a man walking on Carmichael Road who wanted for a number of Housebreakings. The officer conducted a search of the man and uncovered a glock pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody.

Police want to question the suspect in connection with a number of housebreakings in Southwestern New Providence.
