Nassau, Bahamas – BTC is sponsoring the Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Awards again this year, a 20 year tradition, presenting a $5000 scholarship to the runner-up of the academic program. The company has sponsored the program since its inception in 1997, and has donated a major scholarship, since 2004.
“The Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Association is grateful to BTC for once again partnering with our program to reward excellence among our primary school students,” said organisation Founder and President, Ricardo Deveaux. “We are appreciative of their continued support and we applaud them for demonstrating their concern for the young people of this country – our future.”
The scholarship recipient will be selected by a panel of independent judges and named at the Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Ceremony, scheduled to be held the third week of May 2016.
