Nassau, Bahamas – Some robbers in New Providence have no shame and today a hard worker is fighting for life after being accosted and shot by a robber.
We can tell you the drama unfolded shortly after 12:00noon, as the victim was sitting in his Ford Ranger truck on Yamacraw Beach having lunch and enjoying the breeze, when a man armed with a handgun entered his truck and ordered him to drive to an ATM machine on Wulff Road, where forced him to withdrew some cash. Now this is a far distance from Yamacraw Beach.
The gunman then ordered the victim to drive to an area in western New Providence, where he shot and forced him out of the vehicle before speeding off.
The victim was transported to hospital where he is listed in serious condition. Police later recovered the victim’s truck abandoned in an area off Carmichael Road.
The robber is on the loose in an area near you. Watch your surroundings people.
