BTC’s CEO Leon Williams speaking with the Technical Cadet Graduates at the Hilton…

Nassau, Bahamas – The Technical Cadet program has been around for over 25 years and BTC has been involved from the beginning! The company has seen hundreds of students blossom professionally and personally, thanks to the program that aims to nurture and develop the skills of young, technical minded, men and women.

From it’s inception, BTC has had a number of committed team members take part. Steve Hepburn, a member of the Fleet Management Team, has been with BTC for over 36 years, and he has been with the Technical Cadets program for well over a decade. During the 2016 New Providence Technical Cadet Graduation, Steve’s commitment to the program was evident when he won “Teacher of The Year”.

Much like Steve, BTC has had strong affinity for the program, over the years, and hopes to encourage and nurture young men and women who may one day want to enter the telecommunications field. Mr. Williams has noted the company’s commitment to community and youth development, and the Technical Cadet program has proven how impactful youth programs can be on young minds.
