Nassau, Bahamas – Disturbing breaking news is coming into Bahamas Press this morning, which confirms a major bank in the country, is about to begin a major downsizing exercise, which is its second exercise in two years.
Bahamas Press has been reliably informed, and we have no reason to doubt the veracity of our sources, that the exercise to layoff workers shall commence next month August 2016.
We understand a top man in the bank has already tendered his resignation after the decision to terminate Bahamians was made.
Your BP can also confirm that over the past few days now systems at the bank have been compromised and accounts hacked. We wonder when will the hundreds of customers affected be notified.
All we say is: We will be opening our accounts into two of the LOCAL BAHAMIAN Banks to make sure we straight!
