Nassau, Bahamas — Yesterday was yet another bloody scene where a male was fatally shot on Ida Street in the Englerston Community.
Police are seeking the public’s help in solving a shooting incident that has left one man dead and another detained in hospital on Monday.
According to reports, shortly after 4:00pm, a man was repairing a vehicle on Ida Street, when a man armed with a handgun approached him and shot him several times before fleeing on foot.
The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. Another man who was standing nearby was shot in the arm and was taken to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
By the time we arrived to the scene the area was pack with residents. The victim lay motionless in the streets with blood pouring from the head and into the hot street.
BP will not speculate what happened in this case but we pray for the soul of the nation.

Police has also identified the man shot dead on a service road near the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex, early Monday morning as 24 –year old Duval Watkins of Yellow Elder Gardens.
