Prime Minister Christie in meetings this morning!
BEIJING, China — Prime Minister of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, the Rt. Hon. Perry G. Christie and the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, are pictured in the Great Hall of the People on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Christie and his ministerial delegation have participated in briefings prior to the China/CELAC Forum, where he is imminently slated to deliver the regional statement on behalf of CARICOM, as its new chairman.
In meetings with the Chinese President, the Chinese Premier and members of the business community of Beijing and Shanghai, Prime Minister Christie and his delegation will seek to advance discussion on a number of private and public sector projects on behalf of the Bahamian people.
The Prime Minister and his delegation are due to return to Nassau on Sunday afternoon, January 11.
