Bahamas Press is concerned as an investigation in the area has located some seven buildings on the Prison Lane area are locations with nefarious activity, occurring right in front of the Royal Bahamas Police Force headquarters.
Nassau, Bahamas: Now, Bahamas Press reveals the second home on Prison Lane trading illegal drugs, guns along with illicit sex just on the curb of the Water Tower and The Queens Staircase. Our ‘deep throat’ on the Royal Bahamas Police Force [RBPF] has confirmed that the home is flocked by unemployed persons who trade drugs as a living. Bahamas Press is reliably informed that the traffickers from these apartments and the store below also solicit drugs to tourist and young students in the area.
“The area is fast becoming just like the Jamaican garrisons, where street fighting occur almost on a daily basis in the area, by warring gangs in the area,” a member of the community told Bahamas Press.
Our ‘deep throat’ on the RBPF confirms that a fellow officer resides in this apartment building where all this illegal activity is occurring and can possibly be participating in the illegal trading taking place in the building, or is too afraid to report what is going on in these apartment. However, Bahamas Press is concern that guest visiting The Bahamas must pass through this area in order to visit the Bahamas’ historic attractions.
“We do not live like this, but I believe that many of those young persons now idle were involved in the community bands and are now left with nothing to do in this community and with unemployment as high as it is, these people have no choice but turn to the dug economy,” another member of the community noted.

Please keep exposing these drug selling properties. When a certain leader decided to turn a blind eye to the drug trade many years ago,in an effort to boost the economy, he gave no thought to the inevitable harm it would cause to our young males. To your belief that
many of these young people have turned to selling drugs because they may or may not have been made idle due to a lack of participating in a band I say “hog-wash”. The drug culture is one we have condoned for a long time and some revere the drug lords as heroes and will continue to support drugs as long as they get something from it.

Bahamas Press applauds the Police actions on last week Thursday, in a raid which took place at a home on Prison Lane which – for a while now – is know for its nefarious dealing in the at community. Some WUTLESS news organizations opted not to report the incident, as officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit raided the home. As we reported, officers found drugs and arrested a man for its possession.
And why would members of the media be so SELECTIVE in their BLIND WUTLESS SKILL to HIDE SUCH NEWS? Well, Bahamas Press highlighted the home and the police acted on that valid tip. Now here is what we mean when we say, if the EVIL DEFLECTORS OF TRUTH was doing their job, they would have been doing what we at Bahamas Press are doing as journalist and give police INFORMATION and tips on crimes.
