Nassau, Bahamas — Police officers around the country were all sadden today after a female colleague suddenly died at her home on Sunday.

Sgt. 2306 Phyllis Cooper, 39, died suddenly at her residence just after experiencing shortness of breath.

We can confirm as she become unable to breath her fiancé summoned EMS services. But it was too late. She died at the scene.

Bahamas Press extends our heartfelt condolences to her immediate family, and indeed Cooper’s wider RBPF family and friends.
