Another firearm taken off the streets….
Nassau, Bahamas – Breaking news coming into Bahamas Press confirms police had intercepted a suspect with a loaded handgun in the Masons Addition community tonight and following a gun battle resulted in the suspect being taken down.
We can report the incident unfolded just around 8pm when police intercepted an adult male – in possession of an illegal handgun. An exchange in gunfire resulted in the suspect being shot in the upper back.
Police recovered a 9mm gun at the scene following the ordeal and the suspect is now being treated at the Princess Margaret Hospital.
Meanwhile just tonight the special selective enforcement team of the RBPF led to the recovery of another deadly illegal weapon on Windsor Lane.
Once again this is excellent work by the RBPF!
