Bahamas Development Bank Alarm Goes Off Tonight

Bahamas Press is following a developing story in the Cable Beach area. Early this evening the alarm at the Bahamas Development Bank went off.

We are told police were called to the scene and are investigating what triggered the device.

Police are concerned as incidents of late involving the vandalizing of government property have been the practice of criminals.

Last month robbers kidnapped a local family island commissioner, took him to the Government office and stole more than $200,000 in public money. None of the gunmen have been captured and the public purse drained once again.

When Prime Minister opened to the press last week no reporter raised the issue of crime. No one asked Tommy Turnquest, who sat alongside the PM, a single question. No one raised the concerns of the prisoners walking around on the work programme attempting to commit murder and what’s was the government’s position on the programme?

Things that make you go Hmmmmmm!
