Bahamas joins Law Ministers and Attorneys-General of Small Commonwealth Jurisdictions Meeting

LONDON, England – Sen. The Hon. Allyson Maynard Gibson, Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, attended the Meeting of Law Ministers and Attorneys-General of Small Commonwealth Jurisdictions (LMSCJ) at Marlborough House in London from 12-13 September 2013. This Meeting took place immediately following the Senior Officials of Law Ministries (SOLM) Meeting from 10 to 11 September, which occurs every three years in London.

The theme for the LMSCJ was ‘Enhancing Democratic Governance and the Rule of Law in Small Commonwealth Jurisdictions.’

The Attorney General will also visit Westminster Magistrates’ Court and meet with the Bahamian students studying Law in the UK during her trip to London.
