Miller is headed for the Gold!
Georgia, USA — Fresh off her Area Junior 200m record run, Bahamian sprint sensation Shaunae Miller has opted out of her scholarship at the University of Georgia to go the professional route. Miller who boasts personal bests of (200m -22.45 & 400m – 50.70) signed with On Track Management Inc. a sports management company in Atlanta, Georgia. Despite foregoing her scholarship, Miller will continue on her path to securing her college degree thanks to the sponsorship of adidas.
The reigning 400m Champion at both the World Youth and NCAA Indoor events and a former World Junior 400m Champion, Miller will continue to receive coaching instructions from George Cleare her coach at the University of Georgia.
She expressed her thanks to the University of Georgia, the athletic department and Coach Norton for the opportunities afforded her as well as thanked adidas for their confidence in her.
