NASSAU| Bahamas Press is right now reporting the sudden passing of Senior Pastor Church of God of Prophecy, Meadow Street and Hospital Lane Bishop Sterling Moss.
Bishop Moss returned Saturday evening in the capital following a one week family vacation. He wanted to celebrate his 48th wedding anniversary at his home church this morning.
While singing the song “Victory In Jesus”, Bishop Moss collapsed and died in the church.
Bishop Moss was a Supervisor at the Road Traffic Department and retired at age 65 this year.
He becomes the second senior pastor to die suddenly during a worship service in just weeks.
Just a few weeks ago Rev’d Lloyd Smith, President of the Baptist Convention, collapsed and died while moderating a funeral service at his home parish. These are some serious times.
Bahamas Press extends our condolences to his wife Barbara of 48 years children and his entire family on the passing of Bishop Moss.
