Second murder for the weekend occurs in Pinewood – 34-year-old Gweneth Duncombe is identified as victim

Nassau, Bahamas — Bloodstains were splattered all inside a vehicle in the Pinewood Gardens area early this afternoon, after harden criminals shot up a passenger who was returning home from a wedding.

Police who were at the scene where the young woman died are requesting the public’s assistance in solving this latest shooting incident.

BP can confirm that around 2:15pm the victim along with another female were passengers in Honda vehicle being driven by a male in the area of Sequoia Street,

Pinewood Gardens, when two males in a red Ford Explorer pulled along side them, fired several shots, hitting the victim multiple times about the body before speeding off.

The victim was driven in a high-speed chase to the East Street South Police Station parking lot where, the shooter gave chase.

The victim succumbed to her injuries in the South Beach Police Station parking lot.

What a sad day; a woman’s life, which began with a happy morning wedding, ends tragically in death.
