Two-homicide overnight in a bloody night for investigators….
Nassau, Bahamas — Bahamas Press can report police had their hands full last night in what were two overnight homicides.
BP is reporting the homicide of a woman found on a dirt road on Golden Isles Road early this morning. She was stabbed multiple times about the body.
According to reports, shortly after 7:00am, police received a report of a woman found dead at an area known as the Bonefish Pond located a quarter of a mile through an unpaved road off Cowpen Road.
Police arrived on the scene and found the lifeless body of a woman in the passenger seat of a Honda accord vehicle with multiple wounds to the body. EMS personnel pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Bahamas Press has identified the victim as Luthera Moss.
The police are also seeking the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident that has left one man dead this morning.
According to reports, shortly after 3:30am, police received a report of a man found dead on Haven and Red Sea Roads. Police arrived on the scene and found the lifeless body of a man on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
EMS personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene.
POLICE are requesting the public’s assistance in solving two stabbing incidents that occurred on Saturday 17th May 2014.
In the first incident, shortly after 8:30pm, a man was walking on Wulff Road, when he was attacked by a group of men who stabbed him to the body with an unknown object. The men then fled on foot. The victim was transported to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.
In the second incident, shortly after 11:30pm, two men were involved in an altercation with another man at a party on Malcolm Road resulting in both of them being stabbed to the body. The two men were taken to hospital where they are detained in stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing in both incidents.
