LARODA WINS AGAIN!!

Bahamas Press was on the South Beach scene again last night to witness the latest round of voting for The PLP South Beach candidate.

Once again, Myles Laroda won the voting process. Laroda had 45 votes and Cleola “The Black Widow” Hamilton, managed to scrape up 17 votes this time. The branch will now turn over their recommendation to The PLP Candidates Committee.

Bahamas Press will be watching how Christie and his manicured goons ‘do the math.’ Let’s see if they conclude that 17 is more than 45!

  1. @ Slimting: My poor, poor, people get over it….You cannot blame the chairman for what went down. Listen here dummy, it was not the Chairman who wrote the By-Laws for the Branches. He just carried them out.As a matter of fact, the fools caused the process to be hindered from the first meeting. For your information, this same Chairman yall love dearly appeared before the TOP GUNS in the Party with this same mess you running on with. Well for your information it was the decision of the National Chairman to use the same list on Wednesday night because the list was faultless. You notice the Chairman sit in a recliners position and was just looking at you yall drinking your own vomit. As a matter of fact, those who carried on bad Thursday pass were there on Wednesday night calm as a lamb with their tail between their “u know what I mean’ Listen to knowledge, cause u lack it badly, it was the Deputy Chair of the Party, not the Branch Chairman who conducted the proceedings this time and used the same list was used, and yall still griping. Yall sound like a relationship dat went sour and the reality een set in yet that it’s over….Listen here let me help you to heal fast…”It’s OVER MYLES won the Branch support” so get over it. LOL please dont tell me yall going to election court over this. And by the way Slimting, you carrying on over Hamilton and it was your one X that voted for the one person who got (1) vote lolololololol Shame, Shame, shame, you are a “fifth column”

  2. Slimting: This sounds just like sour grapes. Why don’t you accept that your candidate did not win. You can’t blame LaRoda if he got his members out to vote. And get this, one must be a member, in good standing, in a branch for three months before being allowed to vote. That rule was put in place to ensure that persons don’t just join the same week just to show up to vote on a matter. So when you talk about the chairman not allowing persons who join last week to vote, he was right to disqualify them. They were only plants. But I like the enthuasism.

  3. BP 17 might not be more than 45 but little is much when God is in it. “What ever will be will be.” We are the lease bit worried about how the wicked get their gain dishonestly for they will find their place in the end when it is all said and done.

  4. I had the oportunity to sit in that election last night and it is so sad to say that something is drastically wrong with that branch. I hope that the leaders just dont accept what went down there last night because it was all orchistrated. The mere fact that almost half of the voters didnt show up to vote and again a great number of those persons allowed to vote were not South Beach Consituency. I am a member of the South Beach Branch and has attended about 70% of the meeting and for a moment last night i thought that i was in another consituency because there were so many foriegn faces. Mr Leader the PLP slipped through in Elizabeth Estates because of this sort of mess and was lucky to come through. You might not be so lucky here in South Beach. There were soooo many persons in that meeting that is infact from South Beach and was denied the opportunity to voice thier opinion. The Chairman took it upon himself to go through the branch list and decide who will vote. Last week he call his entire excutive and advised them to all support Myles. He also asked the other intended candiates to go out and get thier people to come and join the branch inwhich they did only to be told days before the process that they would not be allowed to vote. It was said that the same list that was used in the branch election (even though the list on that night was came as a surpise to the entire branch)would be used on last night but that was not so. Lastly, Mrs Hamilton was not made public on her intentions at this time because of prior obligations so therefore it is not fear to her the way the voters were choosen. Once again, Leader please make wise and Godly decisions. Think about the whole picture (persons not coming out to vote, the unfiarness of the selection of voters, and not forgetting the BAIS Chaiman.)Remember on General Election day it is the people of South Beach that will have all the voice and not those visitors.

  5. COME, COME BP: STOP BEING LIKE THAT, THE VOTE HAS BEEN TAKEN AND UNLESS THERE IS SOMETHING IN LARODA’S LIFE THAT THE BRANCH DOESN’T KNOW ABOUT, HE WILL BE AGREED BY THE CANDIDATES COMMITTEE AND RATIFIED BY THE NGC. WE HAVE A PROCESS THE FNM DOESN’T. WHY DON’T YOU COMMEND CHRISTIE FOR A CHANGE AND CONDEMN INGRAHAM’S LACK OF A TRANSPARENT PROCESS. IT WAS CHRISTIE, BY THE WAY, WHO INSISTED ON THIS PROCESS OF INVOLVING THE CONSTITUENCIES IN THE PROCESS. HERETOFORE THEY HAD LITTLE OR NO SAY. IN THE FNM THEY STILL DON’T HAVE A SAY.
