Yall ain’t PLP No more. Get it right. There is no return ticket after this week boys and girls. Still waiting on that PGC congratulations story. I guess it slow coming from you because your Convention correspondent is still hunched over at the bar in a drunken stupor having realized that Christie defied the great Bahamas Press and beat your candidate by a wider margin that ever before. You have had since Thursday to report this but I guess wutlessness is now extending itself to the great BP.
Tristan :I dont see the reason why Mr Forbes should be in trouble. Mr. Forbes had no idea what was going on and why the crown on the left sife of the room was rejoicing. On the left side of the room was GB Women Branch members word came to them that the verdict was that Bridgewater was aquitted. Ofcourse gossip and spreading things is a urban bahamian culture, the news went like wild fire in the room. As Mr Forbes continued his speech, he waswondering what was going on as to why everyone was still screaming. Then word came to him on the podium that Bridgewater was just aquitted by the jury. No one question it no. Forbes didn ask who told u or go and verify no. Who honestly would??? The were diliberating an extortion for over 6 hours?? For what I dont know. No one expected them to be going at it for that long so once it was told that is was out. I would have believed it as well. We dont deliberate that long on murder. Mr. Forbes did not planned to go up there and announce that and I think its unfair to say he should have acted differently because I firmly believe that no body would have acted different from that.
