Another bloody weekend where members gangs continue to war! Chip of Nike Boys Gang of GB is latest victim there!
Nassau, Bahamas – Just when you thought all the streets would be quiet for the holidays one by one gang members are falling and tonight right now another homicide is being recorded in the capital this time in the community of Golden Gates.
We can report the investigation is underway on Mermaid Boulevard just nearby the Golden Gates Assemblies Church of God where a fatal shooting has taken place.
The victim has been shot multiple times.
The incident follows another homicide on Grand Bahama Sunday morning where police responded to an incident on Tangelo Court in the rear parking lot of an apartment complex. This is the area near the RND Plaza in Freeport.
Reports are that shortly before 10:00am, police were called to an apartment complex on Tangelo Lane, where they found the lifeless body of a black male in a vehicle with injuries to the body.
The driver sat motionless inside the silver Nissan Sunny with broken glass while the engine was still on. That victim was shot multiple times.
BP has identified the victim by his street name of “Chip”, and is said to be the member of the Nike Boys Gang on that island.
Police in Grand Bahama are also searching for two men who they want to question in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday 3rd December 2016.
Reports are that shortly after 12:00pm, two males armed with a firearm, entered a business establishment in Mack Town and held the owner and patron at bay, robbing them of cash and cell phone before making good their escape.
