Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling, Governor General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas performs the Swearing In Ceremony of Attorney Brian Simms, QC, as Acting Justice of the Supreme Court, during the formal procedure at Government House on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Mr. Simms is the Senior Partner of the firm of Lennox Paton, where he is the head of Litigation and Insolvency and Restructuring Groups. He has vast experience in the courts of The Bahamas at the Court of Appeal, as well as the Privy Council.
