Nassau, Bahamas — The BUT elections appears it will go to court as elections results took almost 24 hours to conclude.
Both Presidential candidates Frances Friend and Belinda Wilson claims irregularities existed in the process.
Unofficial results suggest Frances lost the presidential race by less than 100 votes. The tight race has brought a cloud of concerns with the voting processes conducted by the Department of Labour.
Frances has filed a formal protect to the elections to the Department of Labour, outlining her concerns. Wilson also has mounted concerns in the elections
The Director of Labour has declined to make a formal statement on the matter.
