Christie confirms he will run for leader of the PLP and nominate for the 9th time at the next General Election!
Nassau, Bahamas — Breaking News coming into Bahamas Press this morning suggests a possible Cabinet shuffle could be imminent!
We can report PLP Leader the Rt. Hon. Perry Christie announced in Andros last night that he intends to run for leader of the party at the upcoming Nov. 2 Party Convention.
The move could mean that some members namely Cat Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador MP, Hon. Philip Brave Davis could soon make a final announcement of his bid to seek the top post within the Party.
Sources close to the Davis camp tell us, “Anything is possible at this point, and the future direction for Mr. Davis will change in the days ahead. Expect an announcement in due course.”
What is certain is this; If Mr. Davis moves forward to seek the election of his party for the leadership, it would mean a Cabinet shuffled is imminent!
